Upgrading RAM is one thing, NVMe PCIe4 SSD Samsung 980 Pro is another. Has Firmware Update and needs OS Clone because Windows 11 can not see it at boot, even though the BIOS can.

But why I can just add the 2 TB 980 pro as a second drive without cloning?

2TB is the limit and must have a heatsink. As far as not cloning, this laptop and some others do not seem to see it when trying a vanilla install.

I have an Acer Nitro 5 I want to upgrade Nvme but the thing is, does the laptop supports PCIe 4. I have a doubt. I will go for 990pro
