Thanks for the clear and detailed video. Helped me in upgrading our 8 year old laptop. Only difference I faced is that internal HP firmware overrules the external boot USB and installs the factory version of Windows. So boot USB is not needed

If you're inclined to support the channel further, feel free to like and subscribe-or even both! if you replace the hdd with SSD , there is not factory OS anywhere to read from, you must have the windows boot in a USB in order to boot from, unless you purchased an ssd with windows in it. @@uFixTek I think the particular model I upgraded had a HDD (Drive C) which I replaced with SSD and also a tiny internal SSD (Drive X) with boot software
