Thanks mate! It’s a k&N I got off eBay. Had to sacrifice the back section stock airbox to allow it to fit and machined some small spacers. Works brilliantly,
Since it is not an English-speaking country, there are parts that I do not understand. If I replace the wheel, will it stay centered?Doesn't that matter?
Yeah I just slid it out abit and boom. Sorted. Yeah I had thoughts about turning down the shoulder of the axle on my lathe but a $20 axle was easier haha
I’ve been following your lead Matt. Just drove 6hrs round trip to bring home an ‘85 vx1000 to do this rear wheel conversion and engine transplant into my ‘81 xv750. I’ve heard a 150 tire will fit. Why did u go with a 140? Great video.
