Jordan, with all of this talk about money (And, who wouldn't want to talk about money?) I would love to see a video from you talking about how much you make (in income) per month and how you make your money, right now. Glad you are still with May!
Thanks Jordan for the info on how to get upgrades. I have family and friends that come here to visit me from time to time and I’ve never thought of doing that. That is a nice suite that you are in.
Las Vegas is losing its appeal. I typically go twice a year to escape the snow in the Northeast but rather head South now. Definitely too much walking, waiting in lines for everything. Typical buffets run $ 45 to $ 100 per person. (Sorry, I don't eat that much to justify the cost.) $25-50 food credit doesn't cover the cost. $ 200 per night for room- I'll pass especially when they tack on $ 45-55 resort fee each day. Drinks at pool typicially $ 12 for a cheap beer to $ 18 for a cocktail. Renting a cabanna by the pool $ 100. Transportation to hotel $ 40-60 for a 5-7 minute ride. (that's one-way). Uber/Lyft $5-15 to get you from place to place (less than 3 miles). Making reservations a hassle for dinner. No coffee or microwaves in room. Bottle water $ 5, coffee $ 5-7 I rather go to Mexico and enjoy the peace and quiet, nice weather and better scenery. Most states have casino's in them, much cheap to stay home and gamble and take a real vacation somewhere else.
Hi K Berg..., I totally "agree" with you on Las Vegas and the cost... In June 2022..., I was in Las Vegas, and I noticed that ( everything ) has gone up in price, and I mean everything, especially on the "Strip"... I usually have a "Jack Daniel's and Coca-Cola on the rocks in a rocks glass" in historic Uptown Butte, Montana and pay $2.75 per drink. * On "The Strip" in Las Vegas..., the same drink is $14.00... * There is a ( big difference ) between $2.75 and $14.00. I stayed at "Caesars Palace," and the room price was ( not ) cheap, including the Resort Fee and Parking Fee and who knows what else... Plus the heat... one day of our stay..., Las Vegas High Temperature was 113 degrees... Not good for a cowboy in Montana... * Once again..., I totally "agree" with you and your message about Las Vegas, Nevada. This June trip to Las Vegas..., maybe my last... Too expensive and too hot... Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences... Mike in Montana :)
Hey Jordan we live in Vegas and it would be cool if you showed other off strip things in Vegas. Go to Golden Tiki Bar in Chinatown. Have breakfast at Public Us in the Arts District. If gambling is your thing try Red Rock Casino in Summerlin.
Hi Jordan and May..., I really enjoyed this video and all of the ( tips ) for Las Vegas, Nevada. * Jordan..., your ( inside tips ) were excellent, and you explained them perfectly... I even took ( notes ) and watched the video not once..., but twice ! ! Lots of ( tips ) and lots of notes... I was actually surprised by the number of tips... I have lots of books on Las Vegas, and ( not ) one book explained the ( tips ) that you gave out... * Jordan..., I ( appreciate ) your work and work ethics, and this video proves that... Thank you for sharing the video and tips... Your friend always.., Mike in Montana P.S.: One question: #1) "What does "May" think of Las Vegas, Nevada ?" I bet "May," said..., "This place is crazy ! !" I totally "agree" with "May"... * Again, thank you for sharing the video and tips... Mike in Montana :)
If your a low roller, why go to Vegas at all? Resort Fee a pointless $50 per night and my favorite the $18 hot dog. Just explore local casinos. The air fare is eliminated ,rates for rooms much lower, hot dogs a tad bit lower than $18,and the most enjoyable there never a resort fee
Hey Jordon, can you do another vlog on how safe it is in Mexico. I am hoping to go back in February, and have been reading, Cancun Sun every day. Seems to be tourists being shoot, drug deals, and attacks on beaches by guys on jet skis. Almost every day…..there are now two females, the Australian and a Russian woman, missing from Cancun..they have added more National Guards to the area…keep up you great vlogs and all the info on LA and Mexico….
Thanks, Jordon, i know you have done similar stuff before, but i trust your opinion more, you are very wise and through in what you do…best wishes from not so sunny, ATM, Gold Coast, Australia..lol.
Didn't work for us either at The Venetian. We felt so embarrassed that my hubby let the front desk clerk just randomly keep the $20 anyhow. Vegas is no longer what it use to be, I don't enjoy going there anymore. It's a great hub to fly in to, rent a vehicle and explore elsewhere.
Will the $20 trick work on a comped room through MyVegas at Mandalay Bay or Bellagio? I haven't seen anyone mention it and was just curious as to whether it was worth trying or not.
Caesars suites are cheap. I asked at Rio for one and was offered 2000 Sq ft suite for $105. Flamingo similar. Ballys never had one. 20 trick doesn't work especially if your Diamond at Caesars or Gold at MGM. Have to offer 50 or 100 and no gureentees
That's part of this channel, and frankly, it was always the highest viewed videos on this channel in the past. So the people want these more than whatever you're whining about.
