Spent hours trying to fix the "this page doesn't response" after file submission, only found out that I should manually type localhost:port rather than live server the html page in VS Code 😅 Anyways thank you for this video, clear explanation and straight to the point!

Your keyboard has no problem by the way, you just needed to disable a few things in the ease of access settings. My nephew had the same problem too not so long ago. Great information by the way

can u pls tell me . Once a file is uploaded it automatically displays in a particular webpage and only authorize users can see that file ?? So the only thing a uploader person does is to upload a file .

Hey the video was very useful and easy to implement but whenever I run the app and after selecting a file then I press the save button to save it to my database, I get this error message "Cannot read property 'theFile' of null". this is how I get the data req.files.myFile and I have all packages it needs

Hey man, thank you for that tutorial. Do you know why my frontend is refreshing while I use the mv() function and in it send a text? When I don't move the file, the res.send() works properly without refreshing the page.

The answer was liveserver extension of vscode

It's because you need to respond with something in the post route. He used the res.send() method within the callback function of file.mv(). Usually, you redirect a page from a post route.
