This video is for people that need to upload as built data files sent to them. I made this for people that receive my files for the 2018 Mustang digital instrument cluster and SCCM from me.
That is really quick which beats using my NGS STAR TOOL you have to type each line 10-12 lines of data for 01 Taurus , 3 blocks ea line of FFFF at end 01 time to switch over , GREAT VIDEO I’d like to see more with Forscan
Just watched your vid! I know you did this for mustangs but would it work for 150's too? I guess I need as built data to enable a heated steering wheel module I installed.
How is this as built data showing up on forscan? Is it in the obd device? Forscan does not contain as built data for all Ford vehicles does it? I had to remove the whole dash from my Lincoln Ls 2003 to replace a bad ac evap core. Now I need to re calibrate abs and set steering angle. I was not able to do these things with forscan in previous attempts. They just came out with a new version for windows. Maybe it will work now?
i change my instrument cluster on my ford everest 2018 and the new one doesn’t read my gas its pop up notifications that gas is empty… any inputs how to solve it
Hey, I hope you see this. I just bought a really clean 2000 excursion 7.3l 4x4. Everything works perfect except the electronic 4x4. I’ve tracked it to the gem module. I’m suspicious for various reasons that the factory gem failed, and somebody replaced it with a 4x2 gem with same options. I ordered one with the same part number and it does the same so I’m trying to find someone in the Cincinnati Ohio area that can use my vin to download the factory programming and upload it on my gem. Or, find out what I need to buy to do it myself.
I have a 2010 ford escape and bought the Forscan ELM327 with the usb connection and the HS/MS switch well here is my issue. On the screen where you loaded the values I noticed that all the videos I've watched they all start with like (720) 05 20 but when I load mine they all start with (726) and the IPC module link isn't no where to be found. PLEASE HELP???
In configuration and programming i have only one option like IPC as built other option is not available so i can chnage settings? Can you please help me

Can this change axle ratio in bcm,have 2018 and installed 4.11 from 3.15 and no on this far can help,sct,ngauge ect,because they are changing it in pcm not bcm and I hit 20 mph and wrench light comes on
Just getting into forscan, I work at an indy shop and curious if I can do this procedure to program new modules? Case in point I have a 2015 edge with a faulty ACM. I was able to retrieve and save the old as built data. Do I just write said data to the new (virgin) module?
Super late reply and I'm sure you've figured it out but yup. As long as the p/n is the same in theory you should be able to just write the old as built to the new module.
Hey Sam my name is Matt I just had that cluster installed on my 2017 Roush. But the Ford Tech was not able to program the buttons or anything else for that matter. I ordered this cluster from Hell horse performance and when we ran into problems Jeff had a guy call me to help (also named Matt )but said he speaks with you frequently on these problem situations. So he sent me a link with all the codes I need to program the buttons but I think there are also codes that I don't need to enter that are on there. But this cluster already has my VIN programmed into it. Is there anyway I can direct message you for some assistance? Thanks!

@@breeves002 hellhorse told me that he orders it from Ford and he said he gives them my VIN number he said the only thing that needs to be done on mine should be programming the buttons and any cool features
RS3 4 Me yes it must be programmed. They just send you the parts. I can but not sure if you want to put your number in a RU-vid comment or if it will even let you.
