I didn't quite understand from the video that the shortcut upscales all the videos you send to it *at once*... my poor mac is now attempting to upscale 250 photos simultaneously. (Update: it worked fine, surprisingly, and didn't use too much memory either - just took about 20 minutes.) A quick way to generate image sequences is using ffmpeg from the command line, for example: ffmpeg -i my-file.mov my-file-%06d.png Then you can upscale the images as per the video, then to create a new video: ffmpeg -i my-file-W%06d.png my-upscaled-file.mov
Thank you so much for sharing the ffmpeg commands! They're a huge time-saver. Since mac upscales images one by one, it doesn't cripple the system, but it takes a very long time. I wish there was more control over this process.
