3:20 Instead of moving the gradient to prevent it from being too big, you can set the 'from' on 0.5 and 0.5, and the 'to' on 0.0 and 0.5.

Short, concise and to the point. Just how a tutorial should be. You probably already know this but if not here goes: you don't need to move the collider/trigger (interactable in your case) in the scene tree to get it out of the way. You can click on the eye icon next to its name in the tree and it will hide it.

From reddit: "The background is not a canvas item, therefore it will not be illuminated by the light2D. If you want your background to be affected by lighting, you would have to make your background part of a CanvasItem node (like a Sprite or TileMap), and ensure it has a Light Mask that matches with the Light2D node’s Light Mask. "
