A simple tutorial showing how to use the FPV Camera switcher and configure it to use 2 or 3 FPV Cameras on one FPV Aircraft. this way you can easily switch views using a switch on your radio control to view from different cameras on the plane. Very cool.

Great video and great information here. I actually brought the MTD aircraft after watching one of your videos earlier this year. Still building the aircraft but was just searching for how to switch multiple cameras and found this. This is actually my first time building a drone and your video (the 5km one) inspired me to enter the hobby.

good to mention that cable going to video transmitter from the switcher is the one who will share power to all 3 cameras, so if your video tx puts 12v out will power 12v cameras only.

Great video as usual. How about an 8 fpv camera view at the same time. Giving you full 360 view in any direction with little distortion. 9th gimbaled camera for recording HD and 4k. that's what I'm working on now for my X4

Ali, I use 12v camera and 1 GoPro. Is it true that in my case I would only want to switch my yellow (video), wire only? If you put 12v to vid in or vid out, you could short the switcher. I seen in your video that you utilized all three, thus the confusion here.

Do you have a video showing how you installed the nose camera in the Volantex Ranger XE? I don't want to start cutting on mine until I have a better Idea of placing it with the proper angle and attaching it.

I have a matrix and I want to add two more cameras along with the gopro. Where would be the best spot to mount the cameras and do you sell all the necessary equipment to accomplish this. I also have OSD cause I know it will make a difference

Hi alishanmao, did you ever try how the fy31 controls the throttle? BTW im using this kind of switch to switch the video from my gopro to fpv camera! Mine is only 2 way.

NICE ! now all it needs is to default to one camera when power is taken away from the switcher... that way in the case of the switcher having a problem with power or burning out etc., then it will default to camera one as to keep video.. ;) cant find one that will do that yet..... also we need to talk about making product instead of selling others ;0 .......

Ali, at the beginning of the video you mentioned about splitting the signal so the pilot can see where he is flying and the camera man can see through another camera what he is taking picture off. How can I do this? Do I need another video transmitter on the hexacopter? or this can be done with one?

alishanmao, I hooked up everything the way u showed. there Is 4.9V coming out of the receiver to video switcher. I had a Sony cam that took 12V and the runcam hd that only takes 5V. I tried the runcam hd. I tested all the lines and when I tested the video out line which I have going to the video in on my osd, there was weB coming back through the video switcher to all the camera switches. Why Did this happen. thanks

im having a problem! when im switching between cameras it takes around 3 seconds for the screen to be correctly adjusted. my osd also is getting bad on cam 2 and 3. do you know how to solve this issue? thanks.

+David Roman Yes, google for RCGroups EasyCap. EasyCap is an USB video capture device which can also work on android if you don't buy a bad copy and has the good chip on it. You must have a video receiver connected to one end of easycap and the phone to the other end by USB. You phone must be fast enough because if not you will experience some delay and even lag which can be too bad for FPV. Anyway Easycap is a cheap device on eBay and can be used has a video recorder for your FPV session. I know it exists some other devices more complete or more fast with 5.8 MHz video receiver or for older versions of android but I don't remember their names....

"You have to power your receiver separately otherwise you will not get any video feed from there...." doesn't he mean cameras? not receiver? I was confused.
