That really depends on the location of the cabin air filter in your system design. Some systems has the cabin air filter close to an air inlet cowl and others do not.
i just try this cleaner🤦🏻♂️ be sure to insert the tube inside the vent all in,, i didn’t know that before! the liquid drops from the vent on the fuse drive side( my car infinite qx60)
Best way to avoid dripping it on your carpet or mats is to place a towel underneath the glove box area. First, remove the cabin air filter because it's gonna be wet otherwise. The cabin air filter should be removed throughout the treatment and when you are sure that the stuff has evaporated or dried then put the filter back in. Some people spray it in the blow motor as well when the filter is removed, but there's another kit that cleans the evaporator but you would have to get underneath your car for that to access the ac drain hose. There are videos on how to clean car ac evaporator
But not while spraying the interior vents, right? Do I understand correctly: spray the external inlet with A/C on high, turn everything off and spray the internal vents, then start it back up with A/C on high to flush everything through for 5 min?
You should have your A/C on with the system not on recirc. You can try with it on both fresh and recirc, but you should start on fresh air (recirc off).
