Nice video. You should not have turned the blade around. You just needed to turn the pins. While cutting, the blade should be behind the centerline of the posts and handle, not in front of them.
Thanks for the comment but that’s not right. If you didn’t turn the blade around the pins would be sticking out below the saw. The coping saw comes from the factory installed the wrong way around for safety and it does need turning around the other way before use.
