In this video I briefly show how a fire hydrant meter works and how to use it for pressure washing. If you are going to use one, check with your local water department for pricing. In my area it is $2500 (refundable) deposit to get it plus water costs.

$2500 deposit (refundable) plus cost of water used. Every city is going to be different. For the city in this example it took a month to get the money refunded. Make sure you charge a deposit to your customer to cover this cost and know that it may take a while to get the money back.
