Hi. This advice on first charge is good for the old generation of devices, but not anymore. I'm not knowledgeable about massage guns but I know a thing or 2 about lithium batteries. Charging at 100% before first use and drain it all the way is hurting lithium batteries. This would only reduce the life expectancy of the battery. Best is to avoid these extreme levels. Charge up to around 80% and avoid going lower than 20%. Go 100% only when you don't have any other choice.
Intentionally fully draining and charging the battery is an old strategy that's effective for nickel based batteries. Modern electronics like these use lithium based batteries which degrade faster with greater depth of discharge. It's best to not discharge more than necessary.
What you say is true about restoring ni-cd batteries. Fully discharging and then fully charging lithium batteries is more about training the charge controller on the first cycle. (This works with some controllers and not others.) Depending on the lithium battery, you may only get about 2,000 full charge/ discharge cycles so like you say it is generally better to just put them back on the charger when you're done using them.
If you REALLY care about your battery 30-80% charge is right around the sweet spot. anything less than a new laptop that can be set or scripted to charge/discharge with these limits is not worth stressing over too much
To your mention about batteries - as far as i know for how todays batteries work you should never allow it to go below 5-10 percent let alone to 0. It damages them. Someone correct me if im wrong. Im pretty sure its how it work with phones.
Be careful what you buy!!! I ordered a Youdgee M15 from Amazon. It doesn't work!!!! On a scale of 1-10 they get a -8 million! Now, I have to go thru the hassle of the return and who knows if they will ever send a replacement!
I'm bad and use it on my jaw bone on lowest lvl. I got clicking jaw after my wisdom teeth were removed, the gun helps with the pain. My hands are another I try with the gun, just from the hrs of console and mobile gaming I do.
These products are something you simply can't go cheap on!.I have had all the cheap guns you can think of and they only Last so long, many times breaking from normal use.The gears break quite easily, then you will hear a loud clicking grinding sound. All the cheap guns claim they will stay charged for an hour or so only seeing 15 to 20 minutes from them before they die.I have had 30 of them.Spend the money get one at dicks for about $300. I could have bought a few of the ones at dicks with the amount I spent on these
Which one would you recommend? I wanted to get a theragun for my husband for christmas, but theyre pretty pricey and i wanted to know if a similar brand could measure up for cheaper, but I want a quality product thats not gonna break.
I don’t own a theragun at the moment, but I’ve used them. I like the feel and performance of the Bob and Brad massage guns. Also, you can buy 3-4 of them for the price of one Theragun and there isn’t any difference really in terms of the effect or end result. Biggest factor is price, quality, and feel. Both are high quality and they get the job done - one is 3x cheaper.
hey girl where y buy one? how much $$ has cronic pain too? what your diagnostic you have instagram can we be friends my name is Guilherme hope you are hoody
are there any podcasts or journals or anything like that that you recommend for students getting ready to start pt school/current students for them to learn and stay up to date on things in the field?
The only thing I’d study again before PT school would be Netters 😂 try to get a head start on learning your muscle origin/insertions/actions/innervations and you’ll be using your time wisely. As for staying up to date, download the app Read by QXMD
