You solved my problem...I didn't want to spend $ on an electric miter saw when I was only going to be working on a small kitchen, but my trim/baseboards were too tall to fit in the miter box. Thank you so much!!
I bought one of these last year, but I since have succumbed to the idea that a power tool could do this better. Regretfully, and after a lot of money, I'm back to the $20 plastic miter box I bought last year.
You are wonderful!!! I have some tall baseboards I need to cut but couldn’t figure out how to do it with the miter box and didn’t want to purchase a big table saw just yet for 4 cuts! Thank you again! I hope it’ll work for my project! 😊
Great idea with that jig. I suppose you could add one more piece to the bottom of the jig that sticks out in the back so the work piece would sit on that rather than the table top. Then you don't need a super flat bench.
There are downsides, you can't cut ,half degree angles. Such as 45.5 also the saw blade takes a little plastic with it. However if you don't want to spend the cash on a miter saw and need to cut tall trim this is about the only way to do it. Thanks for watching.
@@detroitdiy ah nice. I’ve actually had my eye on this one. I assume also there’s no reason this wouldn’t work with the trick you’ve detailed in your video, yeah?
