Hi folks, there's lots of opportunities to use small cordless tools in this hobby. I use a small cordless impact wrench to tighten and release my mill drawbar and it is a big time and frustration saver. Used like Steve has shown you get a much smother finish which is even more useful.

That is a very good idea Steve. I have a similar milling set up on my lathe. I like the little flycutter you have (and of course the " powered cross feed" )Thankyou

Thanks for sharing this project Steve. I've often thought it would be useful to have a milling attachment for my lathe, although I do have a mini Mill. Your power cross feed attachment is great. Cheers Nobby
