I really need to thank you for especially this video. I’ve been using a nebulizer since since being diagnosed with ACOS, but NO ONE explained how to use it properly until you. Since watching this video and doing what you explained, I feel that it has helped me. Again thank you, thank you. 💝💝
My father has lung tumor and I this has been helping stir some stuff up and make him cough it out. I’m not sure if I should use the Spirometer or just the Nebilzer, both, or how often.
Hello! The nebulizer should be used as often as prescribed by the Dr. The spirometer can be used hourly to every 8 hours. Really whatever you prefer with that one. You just don’t want to use it for very long when you do use it. No more than 10 breaths.
I only use the nebulizer when I feel more ill than usual. I use the medicine that starts with I and they added saline as well. The other day I was really shaky after my treatment and I use the mask. Do you know why that would be? Thank you so much, your awesome 👍
Albuterol/Proventil can cause an increased heart rate and shakiness, but the only Nebulizer that I can think of that starts with an I is ipatropium bromide which doesn’t typically do that.
@@BreatheBetterwithElizabeth I will check the name, thank you so much for answering my ?. I'm end stage and my gp gives me all my meds I did not have much luck with a pulmo so I quit going. I'm trying to figure out at this point if I should go on to hospice. I don't get out of bed much anymore its not much of a life. Sorry about all that. I don't talk to many ppl anymore.
