This is interesting--thanks for the info! What I would like to see is someone like Adam playing a whole set of like three or four songs and breaking down everything that he is doing and thinking about as it (parts, patches, transitions, etc.) Just an idea--I appreciate all of your tips and resources!
Ok…so what is a compressor, what is the wheel and what does the filter do? Why or why cannot it not just be a basic piano sound and some synth? Sooo, frustrated
A compressor to put it in simple terms, is Audio compression that makes loud parts of a sound much quieter (if this makes sense lol). And you can’t just add a basic pad and piano because music all in all has changed to where its more than just a piano sound and some cheap synth. You need to elevate it to greater heights to where you make the music flow with the song, but you obviously gotta make sure that the music doesn’t distract you from worshipping.
