I am sure a lot of macho men think this channel is a waste of time but let me tell those individuals this is one of the best channels to learn you explain in simple terms and you are a dam good teacher so from all out here looking in KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK It helps all of us it really does !!!!!
You keep answering questions about tools and taking away the anxiety of using specific tools for the first time. Thank you for the information and confidence.
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful approach to safety and the patience with which you explained the various details and functions of the pin nailer,I've had years of experience with tools but never had occasion to own a pin nailer,I wish more people had the caring thoughtful well articulated delivery.
Excellent presentation and information. Great voice, too! I like the fact that your videos go right to the point instead of some hour long autobiographical documentary. AWESOME!❤
I just came across your channel Leah and I am already in love. You are a fantastic teacher and have such a soothing calm voice. Thank you for the in and outs of the pin nailer. I look forward to watching more of your content ☺️
Dear Jane, As many others have said, your videos are clear, concise, and inspiring. You are a wonderful teacher who presents a positive and patient attitude. You truly should have your own show on HGTV or PBS. Thank you for sharing your remarkable teaching style with the world. :) Caroline
Leah, Thank you so much for your videos. I truly hope RU-vid keeps this as an "Open-Sourced" learning tool. This is what keeps me wanting to learn more. I've started 1st with learning how to read a scale and its other uses to building a pergola. Next is a deck. I truly thank you and all the other "Rhodes Scholars," everyone has helped me gain new hobbies as I prepare to "Re-Tire, my Tires for My Retirement..."
All of your videos are so helpful! You are so smart and thoughtful about how you explain each step; it's so easy and calming to watch. You have helped me on so many projects while renovating my home! Keep it up!!
I absolutely LOVE your videos. I do all my own repairs around the house & some get pretty complicated for an old lady like me. I've turned to your videos for so many repairs & it's made my job so much easier & understandable. Thank you so much for posting these great videos.
Leah, you never cease to amaze with your down to earth teaching style. Love your videos. You’re my go to RU-vidr when I start new DIY projects. Thanks so much for sharing your expertise with the world!!
Leah!! I just found you on You Tube! I wish I would of found you months ago. I've been remodeling my 30 year old house and I sure wish I would of had some of your tutoring before I began- it would of saved me some frustration and a little cursing :) Can't wait to watch all of your videos! Close to finishing up a bathroom remodel and plan on moving on to another bathroom. My new search is how to make a tin countertop for my vanity, how to do the plumbing for sinks, and install a sink- this will be a new adventure for me. Thanks again for your videos! Renee
I have learned so much from watching your videos. I have always enjoyed working with tools and your videos give me the knowledge and confidence to to try so many new projects. You are blessed with a gift for teaching. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.
Another great and informative video! I just got the 6 gallon Porter Cable compressor kit with a stapler and 2 other guns. Now I am framilular with the pin gun! Thanks and keep the quality videos coming! You are definitely in the top 5 on my list of You Tubers! Brian
Leah greeting and thank you for a most welcome reply. ,I was telling my daughter about your show and how informative you are on this pin nailer. We have a big nail gun my husband had, (. he has passed away ) and for our projects this pin nailer will be just right. Thank you for sharing. Have subscribed to your channel I like the way you explained each part of the nailer, even an old lady like myself can understand the do’s and don’t. I worked with. my husband he repaired service station and garage equipment so I am so what familiar with air tools. But I believe a person should try to learn something new every day . I loved that little book Dick and Jane . Blessed Be !👍👍🦋🌈👵🏻🐶😺✨🌵🕊
Leah I just saw your video and I am very impressed with your abilities to teach how to use a brad nailer and besides that, you are a very pleasant person. Have a wonderful day!!!!!
Leah, you have answered all my questions about a pin nailer, I just a few minutes ago was watching another video on making a little wooden box 📦 and the person was using a pin nailer something like yours, went to amazon to see what was for sale and of course price. Then the little idea bulb popped up I’ m thinking go see who knows about this nifty little item and learn a thing or two, so I typed in my question and your video popped up ! I said to myself perfect!! So I thank you for sharing this information and I have hit subscribe button . Thank you 👍💕🦋🌈👵🏻🐶😺🌵 Blessed Be
You are helping so many, including myself, learn the trades. I am feeling confident to attempt to install a tongue and groove ceiling in a room. Wanting to use an air nail but am skeptical on how to use a compressor without it blowing up. Sorry, city kid here, and would like to see a video of yours on how to use an air compressor with a nail gun. Thanks for all your videos.
Excellent presentation!! Just getting re- familiar with these nailers. Very helpful, clear and concise !!!! Will watch all your videos from here on !!!
I read somewhere that the glue that holds the nails together helps hold the nails in place when fired. Basically it's like coating the nail in glue and then driving it in. You've convinced me that I need a pin nailer and I checked one local store. They have them regular $90 on sale for $35 :)
Very good video! Recently I had a problem were I was nailing trim in a tight corner. It was a dusty old garage that I'm putting up paneling and trim. I had the exhaust port of the nailer turned away from me and I had safety glasses on. The exhaust blew up some dust and some of it got under my glasses. Now I have an irritated eye and a trip to the urgent care clinic. I'm looking for dust proof safety glasses. Sometimes even though you are doing the right things - things happen! I love your videos and you are doing a great job. Thanks!
i like how you clearly describe step by step everything needed but the only thing for me personally since i have no idea about this type of thing is that i was waiting for you to say the type of machine i need to connect to the pinner nail gun when it comes to these things im quite clueless but i will have to figure it out on my own i was hopeful that she would do a complete video including the types and sizes of the machine needed since they go hand and hand but i will look
Hi Leah, I've JUST discovered your channel and WOW! what a wonderful source of information AND inspiration! I will be diving into your other videos soon! Thanks so much!!!!
You rock, Leah. I have a couple questions. I make wooden beads that I cover in fabric. Trying to find a non-gluing way. Beads are solid wood except for hole Do they make these to shoot smaller nails? And, have you ever used on round surface? Typical diameters: bead 20 mm round hole 5 mm, so nail could be 5 - 8 mm I’m thinking?
Hi Leah! I just want to know if I can use a small compressor for a pin nailer? Say 12 volts used for cars?pls reply before I purchase the item.thanks and more power to you channel.
You Are Awesome, the way you explain things , I've have learned several tricks. I just stumbled onto your videos and I really enjoyed them keep up the good work thank you very much. Your in my scrubbers list and I always give you thumbs up
Hi Leah I’m Just a starter I have never used one of these before, I have Just bought a Compressor plus the pipe that goes into it, can you tell me please what is the nail gun called that you are using please. Awaiting your reply Mark...
Instead of using clamps to hold the glue in place while it dries the pin nailer takes the place of clamps and ensures the piece stays held for a decade or more. They're tiny and unobtrusive to a finishing trim piece. Great video. Idea for a video that is right up your alley, brads vs staples and situations when/where to use one or the other?
+DJDevon3 That is a great idea! I just got the Porter Cable pancake compressor with 2 guns and a stapler and don't really know what to use on different materials!
My new favorite channel! I just found your channel and I've already watched several of your videos. Your explanations of how and why things are done, are outstanding. I truly do feel like "I can do this"! :D Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Wow! Very well done! Thank you for that info. I'm really conflicted on getting a pin nailer or a brad nailer for my project, or just foregoing the easy way altogether and using a hammer. I might ruin my project with a hammer though. My budget is $100 and I would need to get an air compressor and hose for this kind of gun. I'm so conflicted! Question, are these pin nails and the gun strong enough to pierce through the side of plywood? I'm putting a trim on it like you did in the video, but it's so hard that my drill can't even go through it.
I am thinking of buying an air nailer but am not sure what to get. Your YT Channel was my first thought. Prices range from $30-$200 but features appear nearly identical as far as I can tell. so price alone is not a good determination. This Pin Nailer looks good for small projects and will likely be what I get. I am not in construction, mainly small hobby stuff. Thanks.
love your videos on all your projects and tips. I have a nailer #68021, but my problem is that a 2" brad nail will not go all the way into the board. No problem with the 5/8" brad nail. Do I have to increase the air pressure in my compressor? Any help or advice is really appreciated. Blessings....
i'm so afraid of using a nailer cause don't know how to operate the air tank , could you give us a video on that , you are great and I have already watched lots of you videos and love every one of them cause helped me to remodel my kitchen on my own , now I'm down to putting the crown molding on the cabinet , thanks
We actually already have done a complete step-by-step video on how to operate an air compressor. Here is the link. It should help you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tpe4prO1B7U.html
Leah,my nailer has a turn dial adjustment at the back of my nailer, it has air that escapes it, it adjusts in both directions, but what is this adjustment for? And how do i properly adjust it? ...love you Leah
Hi Leah, Thank you so much for this video. I found it very helpful and a bit reassuring. I am terrified of having a compressor but I want a nail gun and paint gun and know I need it in my life. Can you recommend any for newbies. :)
