From the beginning of this video to 4:40 is my standard highway fuel economy test. From 4:40 on is the specific Plug-In Hybrid demonstration and test, if you are more interested in that.

thank you - this is the type of thing that I have been looking for (and this is the best video I have seen so far)! more specifically - I am trying to discover what mpg I will get on a 200 mile trip at 70mph on cruise control - have you done a similar journey yet?

Basically that’s the first part of the video, except I did 115 miles or whatever instead of 200

I just ordered one of these today, the Plus Dark version. In Atlantic Canada, it's going to cost me $85k minus $10k in rebates.

Appears you only plug in to recharge the battery during the day at work and not overnight at home. I guess you don't have access to charging at home. Many folks, including myself, don't have access to charging at home. So this would be much better if the car was charged at home as well as at work.

I don’t have a place to charge at home. Honestly if I did I would have hardly burned any gas at all, because if the circumstances were right this Volvo would do my full commute under electric power. Maybe I should buy a plug-in hybrid 🤔
