So clear. So simple. So easy to understand, with no distractions or background music - just perfect. All instructional videos should be done this way. Thank you for relieving years of frustration!!
What a masterpiece of a tutorial. If every YT dyi were like this, we would have already cured cancer, solved world hunger, and contacted other universes. THANK YOU!
Totally just sent this to my wife because i am not there to do it for her 😅 its short and tells you precisely what to do. Hell, it probably took me longer to type this on my phone than it took to watch the explanation 😊
▪️ Your commentary makes me want to create a 55 minute long video on how to use a ratchet strap. I will include chickens, tambourines, young ladies walking around in bikinis, and a dozen other things that have nothing to do with ratchet straps. 🟥
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! I looked at the Stanley Ratchet Strap video and felt like Mort Goldman trying to understand the phrase "buy one, get one free"
OMG is that simple Me and 3 employees were messing with mine at Lowe's home improvement for 30 minutes and just could not figure it out I ended up not using it in using rope LOL.
You forgot to mention that it's necessary to tap it twice when finished and say "that's not going anywhere" But seriously, this was exactly what I needed, thanks for the clear directions
Make sure the ratchet mechanism is completely open and locked in the open position, then just keep yanking on the strap until it loosens. If it is jammed up, you have to give it pretty hard yanks rather than a steady pull on the strap.
@@Thehowtochannelinc yeah was trying it might need to take the rachet apart like screws on the side so the strap will come off the bolt then screw it back on I guess first time using the strap but had it for 10 years.....
Thanks, that was very clear and consise. I rarely use these and so everytime I go to use them, I always get them stuck somehow. I think this time I finally understand what I've been doing wrong!
You probably just have a different looking handle. It should work the same way. If not, send me a picture of the ratchet strap. I would be happy to help you out. thehowtochannelinc@gmail.com
You can have the ratchet mechanism open when you feed the strap through, but it is easier to do when the ratchet mechanism is closed and out of the way. Thanks for the question.
I find it easier to thread the strap when the slot is in the vertical position and the ratchet mechanism is out of the way, but there is nothing wrong with your method as long as the strap is threaded properly. Thanks for the comment.
