I love this idea! I never used thought to use my planner as a reading journal. I'm in grad school and we have to read and discuss tons of dry articles and studies. This is perfect because I already enjoy planning. Thank you so much for sharing

What a phenomenal idea! I have just started a book bullet journal, but I think I like your idea better. I am using a mini Happy Planner (horizontal spread) for my spending diary, and it's perfect. I'd love to see your Faith Planner and your art supplies, too.

Can you do a tutorial showing us how you print your pictures of the books. Like where do you get the photo how do you make it that small what label sticker do you use? This all new to me it blows my mind that you can just peel off the picture as book without cutting it. Thanks

Hi, I just came across your channel and I love your videos. They are so inspiring. I wanted to do a reading planner this year and after watching your video I decided to frankenplan a quotes page as well. I have tons of quotes that speak to me saved on my phone. This is a great idea on how to write them down. When you read a book do you not down one day of reading into a few days of the journaling?

I love the concept of Reading planner or reading journal. I always try to brainstorm a way to incorporate it into my bujo somehow. I didn't find a way to work it because I find I would be doubling the work/doubling the writing. because I highlight and annotate in my book, when I finish with it I write down everything I highlight, my thought, important stuff I annotated in my Commonplace book. I use my monthly to like, show which month I read and if I start a new book. in my Collection book, if I finish reading I book I would write it down in my book read 2020 spread. and check it off in my Book to-read post-it in the back of my planner. for any more in-depth stats, I have this spreadsheet that Bookroast on youtube shared that I use.

This is a great video! I actually went out and purchased the same planner last month to use as my reading planner, but I haven’t used it as of yet. One, because I haven’t had the time to write in it and two, I wasn’t sure what to do with the pages. I have all my notes on index cards and I use them as place holders as well. When I’m done reading the book I was to transfer the information to my planner. I also save inspirational quotes from Instagram seems like almost daily. Your ideas are so spot on for me. Do you write in your planner as you read, or do you have a set day and time when you for writing in your reading planner? Thank you so much for these great ideas!

This is a great idea to use a "planner" for. But you could also do this in any notebook. My mom used to always keep a small notebook with her daily reading books next to the couch and would write down all the things she thought of while reading. Writing things done even if you don't' re-read it helps with remembering. I should start doing this myself. But I usually read fiction so it's not as applicable. However, I do often look up and write down words I come across that I don't' know.

Most of my books fall into the categories of self help, productivity, money or business related.... those topics interest me the most. Usually a friend will recommend a book or ill see something on Instagram. 🤗 I have so many books currently on my TBR list.... I wish I could read all day sometimes....😂

This is amazing. Absolutely beautiful! I am a reader and collector of information too. I have a scattered collection of notebooks where I keep this kind of information. I’ve never come up with a system that I love though. This one incorporates two of my favorite things!!! Reading/information and planning (especially with stickers). Thank you so much for sharing this idea and doing the flip through. I love your channel!!!! I’m also going to read the book “Quiet”. I’m an introvert also and am interested in developing my strengths in that area instead of seeing it as a weakness.
