In this video, I show you and tell you how to use a Vtech cordless phone. These portable phones are really popular and extremely easy to use, but some people would rather see a video tutorial than read a written manual, so I figured that I would be able to make this video for all of the visual learners. I show you exactly how to use the Vtech phones with some of their most basic functionality.

for real, 62 and just bought the exact same phone I have had, charging but so far no dial tone, and nothing have I tried to set up yet, cause I feel it needs to be fully charged first. So, for now I will leave it charging and tomorrow try this again.

I have to buy these types of phones for my 87 year old mother. Over the years I have bought Vtech and or Panasonic. I liked Panasonic as it lasts longer but a bit more expensive. BUT now Panasonic changed the button size. Make them really small - Shrinflation!! lol. Someone is not thinking much!!

That's the only reason I watched this video. My display is very difficult to see! The font size is also very small. I'll let you know if I find any answers.

Great video but some of these phones are so dark you can't see the screen how do you turn up the brightness also the screen is too small the lettering blends in with the the sides of it in your neck getting a full reading if you're a senior citizen don't buy or if you have eye problems don't buy

How do I get my dial tone to work? I hear nothing and not getting calls either, phone is sufficiently charged, should be able to hear a dial tone by now.

Is the phone charged fully and plugged in? It has to to be plugged into both the landline phone line and to an active electric plug. Try that

I have just bought this phone and spent ages trying to get the wretched thing to work. On the verge of taking it back : maybe it’s a sign to get rid of my landline and just use my Mobile ! Shouldn’t be that complicated surely!

Here is where I am stuck. I dial the number and I hear the tones dialing, then nothing happens. The phone is charged though. I don't know what I am missing.
