@@Theavacadogirl339Then you have not lived where they are 4 inches long and can fly! OR maybe your brothers never locked you in a closet with one as a child. I don't even like seeing them on these videos.
@@Theavacadogirl339. When you find one inside your oven where you store leftovers for a couple of hours, you will be grossed out. The American cockroaches in our area are 2.5”, come up through the pipes at all ages and aren’t the least afraid of humans. It’s almost as if the suckers are daring me to swat them! 😮
My wife and I purchased this product on Amazon about a year ago, and applied it LESS thoroughly or professionally as in this video. Our roach problem wasn't severe, but it was enough that I saw one or two every morning when I turned on the lights in the kitchen. Within *3* days, we haven't seen a roach that wasn't dead since we started using this stuff! We live in Florida, where roaches are a constant threat, but I cannot tell a lie that I truly cannot believe how effective this stuff is! Not even the professional service we had used was as good as our results. Totally recommend with NO reservations.... it's like magic. Oh, and that was after the ONE TIME application after we bought this. We still have a TON left (they give you 4 tubes!) in case we see some alive eventually. AGAIN, YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS AMAZING PRODUCT!
@@habladorhablador4209 apply first time then a month later...don't kill roaches. Let them eat. Pull fridge out. Most hide around there. After first application you should see fewer and fewer....about 2 weeks after first you should see more babies...thats good. Let them go. Always remember in nearly every insect cleaning is key to.
Steve Miller I applied 15 days back but I didn’t see any dead cockroaches . I feel new I see more cockroaches at night. I don’t if I did anything wrong . I followed all the instructions
I had a REALLY bad roach infestation 2 years ago and used everything to try and exterminate them. Then I tried this stuff and I didn’t see one roach after 48 hours. To this day I have yet to see any roaches anymore, it blew my mind how well this stuff works. They say you can never kill every roach, advion would give that a run for its money.
Im 62 AND THIS STUFF WORKS BETTER than glue traps I swear by it xnd I have grand-babies and and a small dog no more sprayers or powders AND THANK GOD FOR THIS STUFF!!!
I had a real bad infestation in my house and came across a recommendation for this product. All I can say is wow! I watched this video and followed the instructions to the T when I woke up the next morning my kitchen floor was covered with dead roaches. I was happy and disgusted at the same time. I had no idea how bad it was or how it even got that bad because I’m a clean freak, but I would give this product 100 stars!
This is the greatest news I’ve heard. The same exact thing happened to me. I’m going to apply it tomorrow and hopefully I will have the same results. Thanks for sharing.
@@Watsonclipsfordaysthis stuff works! It didn’t take as long as I thought it would either. It’s been several months now so just for good measure as well as the change in the weather we’re going to reapply. I appreciate your review as it’s helped tremendously.
GUYS THIS WORKS I’ve literally seen roaches pick up the bait and take it back to their nest one thing to point out is to make sure you’re not killing roaches and to make sure that the poison is doing the work for you because if you’re killing roaches after applying the product you’re basically messing up the supply chain because roaches will transport this back to their nest and kill their entire colony let them carry it back because if you kill them they’re not carrying it back to their nest and keep reapplying where you see that they eat the bait. I applied it and by morning 3/4 of the areas where I applied the bait.
This product really works! I had a bad infestation in my kitchen but started seeing them travel throughout my house. I bought this on a Monday and by Friday I was only seeing either dead roaches or one's who could barely move! I had four tubes but only ended up using one and a half throughout my whole house! Best product out there hands down
Applied it 2 days ago, today I've only seen dead or half dead roaches. I tried two other brands before before but I haven't seen any big changes. This stuff works!!!! Whomever made this god bless him!!
One of my family members has had a roach problem in his house for years! He used this just last week, and when I visited him this weekend, I only saw two roaches throughout the whole house, and they were struggling to crawl. Wow!
A week after i moved into a 2 story i saw roaches everywhere. I put this gel out yesterday evening, this morning i see dead or dying roaches all over. This stuff is the real deal.
This is arguably one of the greatest products ever created. Most roach killing products kill some of them, but this killed all of them. I had a roach problem for years and no matter what I did they would eventually come back. I used this stuff and within 48 hours I did not see one roach and this was two years ago and I have yet to see any. This stuff is simply incredible and I’ll go so far as to say this stuff could eradicate that species which is unheard of seeing how roaches are the ultimate survivors, but not against this stuff.
@@SSJvegito501 I wish my family was able to do thia basically all my life we have had this rule to deeply clean the kitchen and surfaces and never go to the kitchen at night bc they get everywhere... I'm really hoping this solves everything 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I've living in a house that has had a 10 year roach problem. it seems absurd for it to go on for so long, but you can't really understand unless you've experienced it. money problems, depression, being so so overwhelmed, etc. but I just applied this product around the kitchen to start for the first time & this makes me hopeful :-)
I can say for myself that this stuff WORKS. I had a serious issue with roaches come out of absolutely nowhere to the point that I would find them crawling on me while I was trying to sleep. I laid this down as directed, and within a month, they were absolutely gone. Not even a sign of them. Especially when combined with an IGR like Gentrol.
I laid out a thin strip of this on a flat piece of aluminum foil near my aquarium. An hour later I checked it out with a flashlight and it was like a roach street party on the foil. I don’t know where they came from but this stuff attracted them, they gobbled it up and it killed them! ❤

According to Amazon reviews, people on the brand Vendetta's reviews are saying that Vendetta is good to switch up with Advion as a phase 2 bait like Luis Z was talking about.
Stuff definitely works. Put it down last night... Found at least 30-40 dead roaches by time I got home from work today. Only used 1 tube and I have 3 left. Definitely off to a promising start. Will provide update in about a week
NorthDallasDungeon remind me when you post your results, I have this stuff but it doesn’t work for me. I found out that I’ve been using it incorrectly by using it in a line so I’m going to clean all the areas they typically go to “hot spots” as I like to call them, and try again. What did you do to make yours work?
Yes, this stuff is amazing... 3 weeks later and I'm roach free. I've literally seen 2 roaches in the past 2 weeks. Both were staggering around as if the had consumed the bait. When I first moved in I'd wake up and see 3-5 roaches on the kitchen counter/sink area. Now I see none at all. I only used a tube and a half. I anticipate I will probably have to use it again in a few months or so. But this product definitely exceed the high expectations I had for it based on the reviews
AceSpade yes, putting it in a line or in big globs is a no no. I only apply it as the size of raindrops or less than pea size in any crevice I could find. Tried to spread them out at least 6inches and out of plain view. Especially in corners where doors and counters are.
awesome video, awesome results. thank you ! literally the next morning after my first application, I saw at least 30+ dead cockroaches / some still wiggling around. this has been the most effective cockroach bait I've used by far
Great product! cost is around $28- $35 but it works like crazy. I never seen anything like this before. I used this product 5 years ago and never seen a single Roach in my home again. unbelievable..
Where did you put it? I'm afraid to put it in too many places, and then I'll see them all over. Right now, I see them one at a time, about every other day, but they're mostly babies and adolescents, so I'm freaking out. There are also adult smoky browns in the attic. I won't even sleep upstairs because the attic door leads to that bedroom. It's a shame, because I love it up there, but no way...saw 2 flying smoky browns on different days last year when I first moved in.
I didn't have an infestation but living around oak trees always meant roach encounters a few times a month. After applying this alongside Gentrol per an Amazon review, I haven't seen a roach in 5+ years. I apply this and put out Gentrol once a year and never have to worry about roaches again!
When I bought it I was suspicious that this stuff would just gonna be a waste of money. I wanted to kill all the roaches but at the same time believe that it would NEVER go away. After tried this gel in the kitchen where the roaches lived, I stop seeing them around 2 days after. OMG I still have not used all the gel but the roaches are already gone...literally, ALL of them died or ran away from my house. You can take my word if you seriously want to kill all the roaches at your house and remember to clean the surface very well and apply small dots as much as you can around the area. I love this stuff !!!
Yea I wish I didn’t waste my damn money on the typical bait stations & combat gel smh . At least I got til next Friday to buy this shit bc I’m over it 🥴😣🤦🏾♀️
Advion is the best. I didn't thinking I could be roach free. I've been involved where an entire block of 4 apartments were professionally sprayed together. I continue myself with a second professional spraying with the upstairs apartment that I held a mirrored infestation. I then got store product that I could lay down where I wanted for a 3rd and 4th spray. It didn't work. Now I just put three dots under the kitchen sink cabinets and two on the upper sink back splash, once a week. I wash leftovers off once a month.
Never has genocide looked so beautiful. I used this product in my apartment and for days I saw dead roaches. They just kept coming and dying. I laughed as I stood above them, in awe of the death I caused.
I was a bit hesitant about buying this product but after reading your comment, I am sold. I, too, want to contemplate in perfect awe and satisfaction the devastation I have brought upon their people.
@@verysmartultrahuman939 my godness, it worked like a charm! It’s been over a week and there is no visible trace of those barbarians. It was a field of death within the first 72 hrs. If you are going thru the same problem, you gotta buy this!
@@mayflo9554 yes, I got it from this company and it worked like a charm! At first you’ll start seeing dead adult roaches and the ones you still see moving around are doing a little zombie-like dance in your kitchen. It is super important that you resist the urge to stomp your feet and smash the life out of them: simply because those will go back to the nest and contaminate the rest creating the devastating (yet beautiful) and infamous domino effect. As the days go by, you are more likely to find baby roaches (than adult ones) chillin’ on your kitchen counter or different places acting dazed or moving really slowly: like a drunkard on the streets of Dublin. That’s totally normal and a good sign that the bait is working. It’s been over a week and there is no trace of them in the house. It was like magic. Just remember, don’t use Raid or any other insecticide because it can contaminate the bait and these barbarians will detect something fishy going on. I did the maleficent dance over their corpses and joined the dark pest control art club. P.S. just a quick piece of advice. Experts say the nest is typically under the fridge or the stove. Do not move your appliances for the love of god! If you do, those incubi are gonna bolt thru your house and that’s a no-no. Instead, I would suggest to put bait dots in a row on a couple of envelopes or plastic strips from bottles and slide them under. Voila! Good luck and stay strong! 💪🏻😁
I just asked a question via chat online, and you got back to me quickly, about cleaning up residue from year old application. If I ever need bait, I'll come to you first. Thank you!
I researched for two days trying to figure out my approach to tackle an infestation. The Advion did ALL of the work. The other baits were useless, I never saw a roach on my boric acid, and I can't say if the perimeter spray was effective.
I started using this brand yesterday afternoon. I had a lot of baby Roaches that I have been killing off for the last 30 days give or take. I put this brand down about 12 hours ago and just seen a couple of baby Roaches so I put down my second backup brand I ordered at the same time called maxforce that I applied about a couple of hours ago. They both looked the same the Gel was exactly the same color and shade and all. I pray this works and Roaches just don't have a good laugh at my expense.
You should never apply products directly into an outlet where the plug is inserted; however, you can apply bait or dust in the void space around outlets and switches by first removing the covers.
I had a bad corckroach infestation i used a similar gel and i havent saw roaches for 1 year i use the gel every 3 months ,i put about 40-50 small baits all over the corners and crevaces and its all over with da roaches...

i just put this in my car about 3 days ago, today i checked to see how it was working and i didnt see any dead roaches (they r usually inside my car) but i saw one like very slow dying roach. i killed him with raid and felt a little guilty, because i dont kill bugs often, but i think it is working. hopefully i dont see any more cockroaches in my car soon.
I really hope this works...I heard a lot of good stuff about this product!! The roach infestation I have is soo bad, pest control doesn't even want to deal with it lol I wish I had the funds to move..I tried everything even bleach...but this only made the roaches immune to it...I have seen them in my bleach bottle drinking and swimming!! I have never felt soo defeated!! 😩 how often is this application necessary??
You should continue to apply a roach bait like Advion as long as the roaches are consuming it and you are still seeing roaches. If you see roaches every day, then you may need to put out bait every few days. We recommend checking your placements at least this often to be sure you are maintaining a fresh supply of bait. Unless opening drywall or removing baseboards to vacuum and replacing them is something you are capable of and willing to do, that is correct. Some of the roaches will die in wall voids where they are hiding, but this would not pose an issue to you or your home since they would just continue to dry up over time. Their presence wouldn't draw other insects into the home, and any roaches that consumed carcasses that had consumed the bait would also be impacted and die from it.

The bait matrix is more attractive, especially in tougher situations where roach populations may be more established or there is a competing food source. What happens if I place the pea-sized Advion bait around certain areas and the cockroaches never eat it... Will it dry out / disintegrate over time? I have roaches nested behind / inside my dishwasher which is underneath my kitchen island, and I think they are basically nested inside the walls of my kitchen island, so I placed some bait around the areas where the stone countertop meets the wooden panels / sides of the base which connect to the floor. I also put some around the cracks between the dishwasher and the surrounding wood. But a few of them are inside crevices that I won't really be able to reach, so my concern is the bait will dry out and be "stuck" there if that makes sense. Just wondering how that works.
Hi, you can replace Advion Roach Gel Bait a minimum of two weeks from initial application. It becomes hard and dry. You should wipe up the old bait and replace with new if accessible. Thank you!

will it work with major infestations? im trying to avoid using foggers because i dont want to clean everything afterwards and i see at least 200 hundred roaches on the floor and 100 on the countertops please help need good advice
If you are seeing that many roaches daily, then that is one instance where we actually would recommend using a fogger or flushing spray first, and then following up with one of our Roach Control Kits. Our Commercial Roach Control Kit would be suitable usually for larger properties like hotels or apartments, but for the situation you are describing, I would use that kit as well since the smaller kits will not be enough product. This kit has a more aggressive bait than Avion (Maxforce FC Magnum), plus more Temprid FX and Gentrol IGR concentrate. If you rely on bait alone and you are seeing that many roaches, then you will never get ahead of the population fast enough to eradicate them. www.domyown.com/commercial-roach-control-kit-p-7340.html Be sure also to check out our more complete online Roach Treatment Guide here, too: www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-roaches-a-458.html Please feel free to call us at 866-581-7378 M-F 9a-5p for more detailed assistance with your situation. @@miggieless While sanitation is definitely an integral part of roach treatment, bait alone will not work quickly enough to eradicate the infestation. If you just starting to see roaches, then you may be able to eradicate them with bait alone. The trick there, of course, is tackling the infestation early. Thanks for watching and for commenting!
Check the plunger to make sure it is inserted in the syringe the proper direction for applying the gel. Yes, the cap can be placed on the bait gel syringe when not in use after the application prior to storing in a cool, dry place.
Does this stuff draw them out to the point I'll see them? I live in an apartment and I see one or 2 every 3-6 months on the floor or wall. The apartment sends exterminators out that spray the baseboards and lay traps. The sticky traps thrown down 8 months ago that caught 2. I just don't want to see them coming crawling out and on everything which is my concern since I don't know how bad it is. I'm assuimg its small or in someone elses aparment and they drift here scouting for food. I have combat nest killing baits now that I laid out for large and small roaches.
Advion Roach Bait Gel is a roach bait and will more than likely draw out active roaches in the unit. If you have used store purchased bait stations before and have only seen 1 to 2 every now and then, it's possible that this will continue to be the pattern. Sanitation is key to a successful roach treatment, the chemicals can only do so much so as long as the exterminators are spraying consistently and you are using different baits, and keeping it clean, you will see less and less activity. I hope this helps!
Thank you. My local store didn't have this brand but had Raid and it worked excellent just like many here commented. I thought I had gotten rid of most of them but 1 or 2 appeared everyday so I got this gel one. I applied it and the next day a lot appeared dead. I thought I had won but I was wrong. Hope this time they will be vanished just like many comments are claiming after using this gel.
@@JustYourAverageBasicBitch actually no more cockroaches. 1-2 per month have appeared dead but to be fair, my apartment complex is infested but the gel definitely worked. Guess any known brand will work just as fine.

You should reapply a roach bait such as Advion as long as the bait is being consumed and you still see roach activity. We recommend checking your applications at least every few days if you are seeing roaches every day. Otherwise, you may check about once a week as you see fewer insects. Be sure that you maintain a fresh supply of bait as long as you are seeing roaches.
Advion Cockroach Gel Bait should be safe to put in cabinets that contain food. As long as it does not come in direct contact with the food, it will be fine.
Thanks for the explanation! One question: do you think the roaches can become immune to it? I did this about a year ago, now the problems back and I want to put some more of this stuff in the kitchen but wondering if the roaches will be immune.
Roach resistance to baits is not a concern. It is much more likely that roaches would become averse to a bait, meaning a population gets tired of the food attractants - similar to how most people don’t want to eat the same foods at every meal. We recommend rotating bait gels every few weeks if you are needing to bait over a long period of time. If it has been a year since you needed to use bait, then you should be able to use Advion again for a few weeks before needing to rotate to another bait.
@@domyown thanks so much for your advice. We are planning on doing a deep clean this week before putting the Advion so it can be more effective. Have a great day!

We are glad to hear Advion Roach Bait Gel worked so well for you! For infestations in appliances, they should be thoroughly cleaned following manufacturers instructions and you continue to use the Advion as long as you see activity though should rotate baits every 3-4 months to prevent resistance if you still need to treat. We also have guides on our site for treatment and prevention that can help. www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-roaches-a-458.html
No, Advion cannot be used inside a washing machine. Instead, you can bait outside the machine. Roaches will still come out of the machine to find food sources.
Anyone have advice on the cleanup process? The product is definitely working but I hate leaving the dead ones lying on my kitchen floor. How long should I expect to see them dying there every morning?
You can remove dead roaches by sweeping or vacuuming. You can expect to see dead roaches as long as they continue to take the bait. Advion Roach Bait Gel will take at least a couple weeks to months to eradicate roaches, depending on the level of infestation. The transfer of the bait to the rest of the roaches is what takes time.
I noticed in the video, you say do not apply bait on surfaces treated by insecticide. The apartment has regular pest control (which clearly isnt that good) and i dont know what they have and have not sprayed. If i put bait on a piece of paper in all areas, will the insecticide still interfere with the bait?
You could apply bait on something that is not porous, such as our Bait Plate Stations: www.domyown.com/bait-plate-stations-p-722.html. You want to avoid paper or cardboard since those are very porous and will absorb the moisture from the bait gel. Residual sprays would not be applied onto areas such as countertops, behind counter items, and other places counter height or higher, so those are great places to apply bait gel.
I have a dog and cat and am concerned about putting this in lower areas near the floor, but that's where I'm seeing my roaches. They have actually set up shop inside my dishwasher and around my kitchen island. Any suggestions? Could I apply it around the edges of the dishwasher door itself? And maybe on top of the kitchen island (perhaps place it on top of a napkin or something so I remember not to get near it)?
Advion and other roach baits are very safe for pets when used as directed. Keep in mind that you are only placing very small amounts directly into crack and crevices where insects are traveling, so usually pets are unlikely even to notice the bait. You can apply bait under the lip of a counter or in corners, or in the space where a dishwasher or other appliance fits under the counter or between cabinets. You should not apply bait or other pesticides inside of a dishwasher. Be sure the appliance has seals around the door that are intact and working properly, and that any drains are working properly and not blocked, either. We have more tips on both chemical and non-chemical roach treatment in our full online guide here as well: www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-roaches-a-458.html
If your Advion Cockroach Gel Bait is drying out quickly, you may consider using the Bait Plate Stations. Different factors around the home may dry the bait out, but the bait stations keep it fresher for longer. www.domyown.com/bait-plate-stations-p-722.html
I have been using this for 2 weeks. I had a small roach problem and tbh this has made it worst. Now I have more baby roaches than I started with. Maybe i got w bad batch?
Visible results from bait gels will vary from colony to colony. While sometimes you will find many roaches on the floor dead after an application, many roaches will end up dying in crevices or wall voids out of sight. When we feel sick or not well, we tend to stay home or somewhere we feel comfortable and safe. Insects will often do the same and go somewhere they feel protected and will die in dark voids or obscure areas. As long as the roaches are going to the bait they are picking it up and taking it back to others in the colony. Since each roach colony is different, you may have higher numbers this time to eliminate, or multiple generations to eliminate. Be sure to look over our Roach Control Guide for helpful tips on eradication of the pests. While Advion is a fantastic bait, you want to make sure you are using the rest of the items that are important in a roach control program like residual insecticides, and IGRs to help stop the reproductive cycle of the roaches. As difficult as it can be to see a roach and not kill it, that is the ideal approach when baiting with Advion Cockroach bait gel or using transfer products that are designed to get carried back to the nest. While killing a few here and there will not heavily impact your results, you would want to try and allow those you see out foraging for food to live and take the bait back to the ones in hiding at the source of your problem.
Advion Roach Bait Gel will continue to attract roaches when its dry. It should be reapplied once every two weeks. You will want to first clean up previous bait placements and then apply the bait. Please take a few moments to read over our article How to Get Rid of Roaches www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-roaches-a-458.html to learn how to implement a successful roach control program.
Been using for a week I haven't seen one roach eating it, they avoid it like they are smart, even put it around some food and they still won't go around it
It is recommended to remove all other food and water/moisture sources in and around the structure that you are treating. Apply the bait to non-dusty areas that have not been treated with pesticides for the most effective control. Baiting takes time so we recommend giving it more than a week to notice a change or acceptance.
Hello. Will this work in a car? If so, how would you apply it in a car if you cannot figure out where the roaches are hiding? Would it be safe to place little dots of the gel bait throughout the car since a cars are smaller spaces? Thanks.
Sanitation is key in treating for roaches so it would be advisable to go ahead and clean/detail the car interior thoroughly now and make sure to keep it free from any food, crumbs, or trash. Typically roach bait stations like the Advion Roach Bait Arenas would be used in a car rather than a bait gel. The stations allow the bait to be placed and removed easier with less clean up, and contains the bait so that it can stay free of any debris that may be in the car. Place stations under front seats, center consoles, etc in places you may have noticed signs of them hiding.
Advion and other roach baits will kill any of the roaches that consume the bait, as well as other roaches that may be in areas where you do not see them. You can use an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) to help interrupt the breeding process and prevent immature roaches from developing into adults. Gentrol Point Source Stations are excellent for roach control: www.domyown.com/gentrol-point-source-p-51.html We also sell bait, spray, and IGR all together in our Roach Control Kits here: www.domyown.com/roach-control-kits-c-2_73.html
