How to Use Aeon Timeline to Plot Your Book and Organize Your Writing Projects

I have just started using Aeon Timeline to keep track of the events in my book and it has helped me so much with keeping track of my plot and when things happen in my story. Using a timeline app and putting in when things happen in my novel helps me avoid oversights like confusing the days, having one character magically change clothes mid-scene, and or them appearing to time-travel.

Disclaimer: I'm not an expert in Aeon Timeline and am still learning how all the features work, so in this video I'm just sharing how I have been using it.

I love Aeon Timeline 3 and use it every day. It is really a solid and professional program and I rely on Aeon every day. I tried Plottr but after discovering Aeon, it was an easy choice. (PS I have no affiliation or benefits from my review. I simply just like it a lot).

Thanks, Claire. I have v2 but haven't upgraded as I do everything in Obsidian now and I'm waiting for the timeline plugin to be completed. V2 still does everything I need really.

I haven't used Obsidian but have heard great things about it--do you like using it?

@@WritewithClaireFraise It's epic. Everything from the infinite canvas and Excalibrain, to the deep AI plugins. It's strength is also it's weakness. You need to have more IT skills than say with Scrivner, and it has a steep learning curve.

Hi! I have been working at getting better at dictating. It's been challenging, but it was one of my goals for this year so I'm forcing myself to do it. I will make a video on my experience once I have spent some more time doing it :)
