What a beautiful card! Your cards are always amazing, so professional looking! Thanks so much for sharing your creative talent! Blessings from Canada! Stay Safe.
With all of my glass surfaces in my studio, I have a spray bottle of 70% rubbing alcohol for cleaning. And it is useful on a multitude of surfaces and sanitizes at the same time! Love that new die!!! Gorgeous card. Love my alcohol inks!
Super, Gina, thank you :) I look forward to trying the gold foil vein effect over alcohol inks as the gold inks are difficult to control. Your way gives a beautiful effect.
Working with alcohol inks is always amazing, as it's hard to make something that doesn't look gorgeous---& if it doesn't, you just use some blending solution as the solution! Adding foil to it makes it look like a treasure agate found in a fairy's cave. Love it. :o)
I've been doing this for a while and using your Thermo-o web foils. If you use the alcohol blending solution and a paint brush you can control where and how tacky you want the alcohol ink for the foil to stick to. This way you get a really beautiful marble look. It works great not only on Yupo, but also on Vellum. Your foil packs lasts me for several alcohol ink/foil backgrounds and you can mix and match the foils on one background.
Just beautiful, Gina. LOVE, Love, love, the tip about the alcohol inks and foil! WOW! I loved the entire video. Gotta get to your store. Thank you. Thumbs UP!
Beautiful card!! I've seen a couple others demonstrate using alcohol inks but I think your technique gives the prettiest results. I'd think I'll give it a try! So glad to see you doing more videos again. Your videos are what inspired me to start making cards. My first stamp and die set was a kit I purchased from Stamp TV and still enjoy using it:) Thank you for sharing your creative talent with us all.
Snowing here also. Lite and pretty, steady w no wind. Thank Goodness. Wish it did this at Christmas. Gorgeous snow fall. Love the technique with the alcohol inks. Tyfs. Beautiful cards Gina. Blessings.
Absolutely stunning card, Gina! The alcohol ink and foil technique on Yupo is amazing and so very beautiful. I will definitely be giving this a try. Thank you.
Wow, what a soft and beautiful card! Sigh, every time I use AI, I find my projects extremely bright. I’m definitely going to follow what you did today, thanks.
Hi Gina..After the 3rd. attempt I finally cracked it! I discovered my problem. I used the foil upside down! Duh. Love the card, love your videos. You make feel I can do it too!
Good morning from Nebraska, Gina! It is snowing here. Thanks for not covering up all of the background. It is soooo gorgeous! The foil looks like mica. Embossing is my favorite technique, but I have not seen my heat tool in a very long time. :( Or, my alcohol inks, come to think of it. Somehow, a bunch of my supplies disappeared into the ether. Stay warm!! Shala
STUNNING CARD, Gina! LOVE the foiling technique as well as the alcohol ink application! SUCH FUN! ALWAYS look forward to your videos~~TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Look forward to the Oval Die release, too! :-))
