How to use an Altered Book Encylopedia Art Journal Flip Through 

I like the page you said you didn't ... like everything about it!!!

On the page of "if the young only knew, if the old only could" I think it looks like an old map, maybe put some dirt roads, old city/town names, the girl could be reminiscing of her days of travel when she was young. Just think old, like king days or even further back. From what I can see it really screams old map! Okay back to the video, just had to stop and tell you this.

Very nice pages. Too bad you don't recall what products you used to get there. Hopefully it has come back to you by now. That is a very cool book to decorate. Thanks for sharing.

love the altered book. i am working in one and too have the same spine problem. i have started to work in tne middle. but now will start at the back too. mine is just a novel so it doesnt have a cool cover i plan to alter it one day...

Beautiful pages and techniques. I like all of them even the ones you said weren't your favorites. The marbling on that one page is awesome. I'd love to see you do a video on that technique. I love the cover. It would be hard for me to alter it. I understand your comments on not remembering what you did because I am constantly surprised when I go back to a page I did and can't remember exactly what I did. LOL

love your pages. I'm a texture person, too. have you ever tried clear gesso. it has a wonderful texture and will not obscure your text. again, really like your journal, most especially the pages with the lady at the beginning.

That page you said you hate. You flipped to it and I went WOW. I love it! It looks old worldly. I think it's beautiful.
