How to use Animal Bedding Pellets 

I've been using pine pellets for my cat for a couple weeks now. I don't wet them at all. I just put them dry because my cat likes to claw and dig into the pellets and bury her pee/poo. If they are wet I feel like they would make more of a mess and she would end up tracking the sawdust through the house. When she pees on them it turns to sawdust and settles at the bottom of her booda dome. I clean it every day and bought a plastic organization basket that had just the right amount of holes on the bottom/sides so that I can sift the sawdust away from the pellets. It was only 1.00 at the dollar tree.

It's probably not bad for horses, but it's too dusty for chickens. They flap their wings and get the stuff floating around. Gives me allergies/asthma. I wish I could find a cheap alternative with NO dust.

The pellets are compacted saw dust, the water separates the dust from the form of a pellet. It’s not a mystery it’s common sense.
