It's a good feature, i tried it by myself to edit my friend's video and this feature works so well and the great thing about this is, a beginner can also apply this by only adjusting the sliders. That's absolutely awesome👌🏻✌🏻
I've followed a number of different tuts on this, and made many attempts playing with the sliders, and I never get the results I want, and not even close! I sure wish it worked as well for me as it looks here. So frustrating that I end up key framing it myself! [sigh]
Sorry to hear that it's not working for you. One key element to better success (which I can't remember if I covered here or not) is to pre-treat the dialog itself before attempting the ducking. So, evening out dynamics (via a compressor, or simply using the Clarity function of Essential Sound) is a good way to insure that the auto-duck detection is consistent. This should improve the results pretty dramatically (especially if your dialog is all over the place, dynamically speaking)
@@jasonlevinevideo ya I figured it out after playing with it. In the video you said that you already tagged it so at first I didn't understand how you tagged it. Anyhow that's a really cool feature. Thanks!
