Do you want to know how to inflate your car tire with a bike pump? It's just like inflating your bike tire, but takes much longer! Check the tire for the manufacturers recommended PSI. Most pumps with have a pressure gauge where you can see your current pressure. The car tire should have the same connections as your bike tire. I had to do this when I had a slow leak on my tire, I'd pump it up at home every 2 to 3 days. ....

I did 20-45 psi in ~10 minutes, its definitely doable, and good arm exercises.

with some cheap electric inflators it takes 10 minutes from 25 to 35 psi for my 2007 Avalanche 😅,, so you got a good record with the manual one 👍🏼

I just realised a bicycle tyre pressure is about 110psi and car tyre is about 33pst. So that bicycle pump should be able to pump a car tyre. But with a lot of pumping..

My tire has a slow leak as well, I get the low tire pressure light on my dash every 1-10 days days. The local gas station charges $2 for air, theres a grocery store that has free air but it’s not close to me.

All the gas stations air pressure machines near me have charge for it too but I just go inside the store and they ask the people working if they could turn on the air and they always do.

Had a low tire that needed repair. The bike pump got the tire back up enough to make it to the tire store .5 mile away. Better than a spare change in the driveway!

I've got bored from the cheap electric inflators, so I bought a bicycle inflator 😅, hoping that it would be useful for simple emergency situations. Indeed, I found this video.

Don’t be irresponsible and explain to people that you kept pumping up your tire every few days because you had a nail in it, as soon as you find out that you have a puncture, go get it fixed. Otherwise, you are damaging the inner wall of the tire as you drive on that puncture.

10-15 minutes to pump up your tire. Yeah, but from what psi to what psi? How long to top from, say, 30 psi, to 35 psi?

I just pumped up my mother in law’s (small) car tire from 0-30* in about 5 minutes. *Full disclosure- while the tire pressure gauge SAID zero, it’s a crappy old gauge that sticks so who knows what it was actually at.

@@perfectgematriadecodesabc4259 unluckily not. But I have found that in the country where I have relocated (Germany) most of the gas pumps have a tire pump.
