good point, although a 10% range buff can make a difference with towers that already have huge range like lightbeamer or sniper. a lot of what i say in my videos is meant to be applied towards multiplayer (even though i record almost all of my footage in solos lol).

Uhh I wanted to record a message for you, to get you settled in on your first battle. I actually worked in that fort before you. I'm finishing up my last week now as a matter of fact! So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming. But I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about! You'll do fine! So let's just focus on getting you through your first week, ok? Let's see... First there's an introductory greeting from the UEC that I'm supposed to read. Ehhh... It's kind of a legal thing. Y'know. Uhh... Welcome to the United Earth Command. A magic place for towers and commanders alike, where defense comes to life. United Earth Command is not responsible for damage to base or person. Upon discovering that a base has been captured by invaders, a team will be dispatched within 90 days or as soon as the property as been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and carpets have been replaced, blah blah blah. Now that might sound bad I know, But there's really nothing to worry about! The invaders here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No! If I were forced to listen to the XCF's stupid commands for twenty years and I never got a bath, I'd be a bit irritable at night too! So remember, these towers hold a special place in the heart of your defense, and you need to show them a little respect. Right? Ok. So just be aware, the invaders do tend to invade a bit at night. Uhh they have type of 'attack mode.' Uhh.. something about spores in their brains... uh... they used be allowed to attack during the day too, but then there was The Three Front War. Yeah... It's amazing that the UEC can survive without the core base. Now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as the commander, if any, is the fact that these invaders... uhh if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll most likely see you as a tower after the end of a battle. Now, since that's against the rules here at the United Earth Command, they'll probably try to... forcefully stuff spores into your brain. Um... Now that wouldn't be bade, if the spores themselves weren't filled with chemicals made to convert you into an invader. Especially around the facial area. So you can imagine how having spores forcefully shoved inside your brain could cause a bit of... discomfort... and death... The only part of you that would see the light of day again would be your eyes and teeth that would likely pop out of the spores covering your body... Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up... But hey! First battle should be a breeze! I'll chat with you tomorrow. Upgrade those towers, and remember to skip the waves only if absolutely nesasary. It makes the enemies come quicker. Alright. Goodnight."
