Just a strat i knew about from when i used to play FOB's religiously back in the day, just thought i share it with people who commonly play the single player more and so non-lethal players have a reason to use more of their toolkit
@@manlymcbeefinton2014 If you wanna go for an even crazier extreme realism challenge, turn the hud off and enemy presence off and don't use tranq weapons.
Ur welcome! I wanted to share with people (mainly non lethal players) how to use more of their toolkit that gives them more options and practically besides "This kills them" or "This knocks them out" ill probs do this with other weapons etc. I've got other MGS vids on the channel if your interested and not just limited to MGSV.
also yyeah you can pretty much make fob missions with c4 eassier i can confirm it works but just dont destroy anything or kill anything with it place it somewhere for the guards to look at also stops the gaurds from waking up their friends
Something I also do is put decoys around the area of C4 explosion in case I take too long and they about to lose interest as a last minute strat to keep them Invested in one direction
Ye, you could also combine that decoy trap with a sleep gas mine near the decoy, just a small idea to try out u you could also set up more c4 in the same area as well
I thought you were going to do some crazy exploit but ever since I first started playing this game I used C4 as a distraction. That said, you've got the method down to a T, I never realized guards hold their position for so long when under suspicion. This'll come in handy for my replay of the game since I lost my save a while back.

Binocular night vision with a centered thermal imager slightly above the axis of the two night vision imagers would seem appropriate. Coupled with integration between NVD and thermal. Night vision sees through glass, deficient in seeing through smoke, fog, dust. Thermal cannot see through glass. I wonder about windshields.
Well there's 3 types of alerts Caution - where the enemy knows ur in the area somewhere and are on guard. Combat alert - you got caught and now the enemy is now engaged in a fight with you. Evasion alert - you've got out of the enemy sights after an Combat Alert, but now the enemy will investigate the area where they last saw you. As for the logic in the video, the C4 caused a 'Caution Alert' and this causes all of the guards on base to prioritize looking at the source of the explosion and will look in said direction until the support team gives the clear, which is why i set up two of them so i could manipulate the direction they are facing to get in there blind spots to take them all out from behind. Im sure u can get pretty creative with it them.

I did this on Sahelanthropus, but in casual situations like this its make alert and they starting to changing positions and its more chaotic, but still its good use, especially if you cant see blind spot of enemy, but there usually plenty of them
@@manlymcbeefinton2014 simple, really, plant c4 on the base there he is spotted you, goes away with otacon, when he is trying to find you blow c4 and go to helicopter

Yea? It's a easy game but its just fun to experiment in different ways as for any other explosive yeah you could just use hand grenades but you can only use them as far as you can throw them, with C4 i can detonate them when im on the other side of the base and manipulate the direction the gaurds face when i want them to
Wtf? So alert makes them actually fuckin stupid? ..... dude, I am trash lol. I completely forgot the damn nvg was a thing. I used it like twice n completely forgot. Used a box once, n only just recently learned how to put posters on them. Coolest trick I just learned was throwing a smoke grenade in your jeep makes you basically invisible for a little while, it is fuckin broken af.
