Does the Army CA go straight to the vendor, or do they reimburse you? Most of the resources/vendors I’ve found require you to pay/sign-up before you can get details like the total cost, training schedules, etc.
Hey Nicholas, great question. Please don’t pay for any upfront charges. If you search the CA providers, you will find a list of contacts/ phones, emails, websites that you can reach to get your quote/ invoice for the training/ cert that you are pursuing.
Hi Lo, I am guessing that the NCO visited secure.login.gov/?request_id=db43710a-2156-433c-9333-b910afc82439 to make the account. The ArmyIgnited helpdesk can be a bit slow to respond. I would suggest visiting your local education center and see if they can assist. I doubt it, but give it a shot.
Hi Jean, I’ve been trying to sign up for the chartered retirement counselor course and exam but all the vendors are just flight schools irrelevant to my provider and/or course (when applying to request payment to the school. Credential assistance only since there is no degree). Is this common? What workarounds are there?
You might have to start your search backwards. Find a list of providers, and see if they are under the course providers on ArmyIgnited. Ensure you are looking for credentials and not college courses. Good luck, I hope you can find what you are looking for.
Hi thank you for your comment. You can take any credential you would like. But obviously you would want to have a specific goal in mind. What credential did you have in mind?
@@jeanburgos3416 Your video was ded helpful brother. Im a medic trying to pursue cyber security and have basically no idea where to start. I figured I try and get SEC + certified as a starting point but have not used Ignite since the change over.
@@professorg9675 that is great to hear. Go to the Oreilly Books I mentioned for free study materials. You can also search on RU-vid for Professor Messer. He has great content. I recommend you start out with Network+, then Sec+.
Hi Quinton. Thank you for watching the video. ArmyIgnited can only be used by Army Active Duty, National Guard and Reserves. The Navy has a similar program but I think is for current serving memebers. www.cool.osd.mil/usn/ Look into the VR&E from the VA. You can use that benefit to pay for certain education. Good luck!
