If you are having issues accessing the AVD, you can get assistance at www.aesmp.army.mil/csm That's the Army Enterprise Service Desk. You will need a CAC.

I don't get the page you get at 3:36, mine says "You don't have access to this. Your sign-in was successful but you don't have permission to access this resource."

I got: "Your sign-in was successful but does not meet the criteria to access this resource. For example, you might be signing in from a browser, app, or location that is restricted by your admin."

I had this problem, might be because you’re not onboarded before you tried to do the setup

You should be able to be onboarded from a computer with just your CAC (no government computer needed). It also, should not take long to get approved. If you have not got access by now, I would try the helpdesk I pinned in the comments. It could be an issue with your credentials, but I wouldn't know what specifically.

Be mindful of which computer you add the remote desktop too because they may be able to access your personal computer files.

Working on a Mac. Trying to get past the sign on with AVD keep getting error 2604 no connection. Any idea on how to fix the internet connection issue? My internet works fine yet not in the app for some reason

It sounds like a CAC issue, I'd verify that it works by trying to access other sites like MyPay or iPerms. That being said, this system is new, and I've seen a lot of people in forums having issues. If all else fails, I suppose you could always contact the helpdesk.

I was able to access by AKO mypay, iperms, ippsa, etc, but for some reasonim wasn'table to get access to my email. Is the first time, that this happen, i will contactmy unit, if i resolvethe issue, I'lllet you know.@@MilTut360

I got onboarded, but when trying to set up a workspace, I accidentally clicked the wrong CAC certificate (didn't use the PIV)...Now when I try to add workspace/log in, it tells me that "Certificate validation failed Try again by doing the following: Close the current browser Open a new browser to sign in Select the certificate If you are using a smart card, make sure it is inserted correctly." Helpdesk was at a loss since my certificates work for mypay/etc...Not sure how to delete/reinstall certs. Think that'l work? Hoping someonw smarter than me has had similar issue and resolved it

I’ve gotten in (thanks!) but the desktop that I see has stuff from my job 3 years ago and one or two new documents, but certainly not the documents I’m working on daily. Will this update over time now that I’ve signed in?

Mine tells me I have invalid credentials. I'm sure its not my CAC, it worked fine up until this went live. Now I cant log in to anything

I updated the link in the description. It will direct you to a MIL Connect page, which will have instructions. They updated it since the making of this video. But it's mostly the same.

Go to the link in the description, and checkout the "setup" tab. There is a section for Mac users. It says you can download remote desktop from the app store.

It's intended for military use, and you need credentials to access it. So if a civilian (contractor or government employee) has credentials, I suppose they could access it. But, again, you have to request access.
