How to Use Deformers in Maya 

Using Maya for 10 years and I never used Deformer. I would just move Vertices till they were correct. I wasted my time because deformers are the best thing.

Hey...Just curious to know..is there is any way to use lattice on curved object..I mean suppose I have a detail wire object and I want to make a bulge in between and that can easily be achived with lattice but the problem is how to apply lattice on curved surface. Please reply.
