i clicked on this video thinking i was going to get a start to finish on where to plug them in and how to set them up so i can hear sound in them in addition to what you also said. great video, but did i miss these things

@@BeatmatchGuru Numark Party Mix II. Got it as a newbie-budget-training gear in the end of decemeber 2021 :D I've already started realizing that it is a bit too small :D

@@אסףביטון-נ7ה Despite the limitations with too few cue-buttons, etc, I really loved it for its simplicity. One of my kids still loves it :D When I realized I needed a bit more out of the controller, I actually did what I recently promised above. I upgraded to a DDJ-400. I however do have some clips on my own youtube-page where I started with the Numark, and one of the mixes (especially the ukraine-tribute) is made entirely with the numark and VirtualDJ :)

Okay but how do I set it up in my program? I use virtual Dj and I have a numark mixtrack platinum fx I have headphones and a mini jack But I don't know how to set it up in the program please someone help 🙏🙏🙏🙏

for some reason when i hit cue and change my mixing volume to cue i still cannot hear the track unless it’s turnt all the way up on my fader any help with this mate?

For some reason the song this playing on the speakers is playing in both side for me. I can’t get just with to the a next song. Any advice?

Earphones are numbered 1 nd 2 they are controlled by the Cue buttons and the master button.. press 2 alone than you should here the track on deck two only. Press 1 than you should here the track on deck 1 only. Press master alone you will hear whats playing on the speakers in both the headphones

When I click on the cue songs start playing on ddj400 on speaker. What to do?

Volumes of main/booth/headphone correct setup: -set booth & headphone to volume zero -set main to match room/people in the room -set booth to match main volume from the DJ's perspective -set headphone to match booth volume In that order. This is to prevent deafness/tinitus. Also, you don't need headphones that are 125dB+, that is overkill and will ruin your ears. So ditch the Sennheiser HD25.

am experiencing an odd behaviour with the DDJ400 in rekordbox The headphone cue plays audio through the master output too. That shouldn't be the case. I checked the CUE MASTER knob and it is unlight. Only the Headphone cue is light. The audio settings seems to be properly configured. Wht may be the problem!? this drives me crazy ( i didn't have this issue before)

Just got some DDJ 1000's and the latency is a major issue. Never had this problem with vinyl using 1210 mk2's and a DJM 500. Been mixing without headphones for now but don't really like to set cue points as they might not be accurate. I proffer to use my hand to hold and then throw the track in like you would with vinyl. This is gonna take some getting used to. But if the latency issue is unfixable, I have just spent thousands on an expensive paper weight.

hey bro, I just got my DDJ 1000, but the headphone is not working, in the headphone output setting, there are only output 1 and 2, and neither is working.

Hi, complete nooby here and your video really helped! I’ve got the HDJ X5 and for some reason, When I plug into the DDJ 400 jack im Not getting any sound at all, am I missing a glaringly obvious thing? Thanks for your help!

Hey Stephen have you pressed any of the cue buttons? moved the setting to cue instead of mix or master? volume on the master up and volume on the headphones up?

Hey Matt, have you tried pressing CUE button underneath the Master level? Pressed CUE button for the track that you want to play? plus the level for headphones is switched up, with the setting set to 'Cue' or Mix, instead of Master?

Hi, I don't know if it's my controller or settings in rekordbox that I hear the cue song super low, I just hear the song playing on the speakers, doesn't matter if I have the master cue on or the cue song from the speakers and the one I'm preparing

@@jb3ski yes had to change input and output settings and turn the cue volume. If you go on a forum maybe some help for your software. I still think it's recored in mono tho and not for headphones but manage to put mixes onto Mixcloud and people can listen on single speaker like alexa or a phone etc
