Thank you!
I was waiting for this solution for a while. I wish the process of calibrating the lidar would be without the gimbal. Unfortunately, DJI gimbal is necessary for initial calibration. After that the lidar or the motor will store up to 3 lenses profiles and the lidar calibrations is not necessary.
Here is text manual:
Attach DJI follow focus motor and DJI Lidar to the camera. I’m using DJI Ronin S raising plate upside down and DJI 12mm Rod Mount.
Connect one end of a USB-C cable to the Lidar and another one the motor.
With a second USB-C cable connect one end to the motor and another to the DJI RS 3 Pro Gimbal
Power on the gimbal
Slide right to access Lidar menu
Go to Lidar settings menu
Measure Lidar installation distance on the camera from the sensor to the front of the Lidar. Then enter the installation distance at the Lidar settings menu in mm.
Go to Lens profile and add a new lens profile. Enter Focal length of the lens and then start motor calibration.
To Calibrate the Lidar place a subject one meter in front of the Lidar.
Turn on the camera and using the focus wheel on the gimbal - adjust focus on the subject.
Then place the subject 4 meters away and adjust the focus again. Confirm the settings.
Test the Lidar moving a subject in front of it.
Unplug the focus motor from the gimbal and then connect power from the camera battery or another source.
I’m using D-Tap to USB-C cable which can supply from 7 to 16 Volts. With lower Voltage the system will not work. Link to the cable amzn.to/3pB7xvc
Wait for about 20 seconds for a light to appear on the Lidar.
Press Fn button to select correct lens profile.
Press Fn twice to calibrate the motor
Press AF/MF to activate autofocus.

Putting this here for anyone that is struggle to get this working: The type of DTap to USB C cable is very important. If you watch closely he explains his cable supplies 7-14volts. Many Dtap to USB C cables from big companies such as Small Rig include step down voltage converters that change this voltage from 12-14v down to 5v. You'll see this as a small black box between the Dtap and the USB C end. Here's the tricky part, some of these cables say they are compatible with higher voltages, but this is ONLY using the USB C PD specification, which DJI does NOT support. This is a specification that allows the voltage requesting device to tell the power supply how much voltage to send. In order for this to work, you need a cable that provides 7-14volts without alteration, and without being USB PD spec. These aren't as common because you can fry devices if it can't handle the higher voltage A cable like this one will work: www.amazon.com/PUSOKEI-Flexible-Universal-Digital-Cameras/dp/B0BD5MBQZN/ref=sr_1_15?crid=216629133FU6N&keywords=dtap+to+usb+c&qid=1689016882&sprefix=dtap+to+usb+c+%2Caps%2C82&sr=8-15 Hope this helps someone! DJI - please provide the fact you don't support USB C PD more clearly in your manuals as it's a very common standard now.

My question : if I have différents subjects on my frame , how can I choose the target to make sure the focus is right where I want it to be… (same way when I use it with my Rs3Pro). Possible to track the subject? How ? Possible to plug into the RavenEye through the LiDAR with another usb cable and get from the HDMI output a monitoring in the DJI App ? Just to get the opportunity to control the LiDAR target ? And maybe use also the tracking mode . I don’t think so but in case… I préfère to ask . Hi I have same lens as you and URSA Mini pro 12k as well. When you added the lens focal lenght at 50mm, does that mean if you later change the focal lenght to 75mm, you will have to always have gimbal close by to enter this new value? Or with Pictor zoom lenses, focus will remain the same even if focal lenght changes? Greatfull for response, thank you for making this video, I was wondering about this...
