In this video I show how to use an E6B Flight Computer (aka Whiz Wheel) to determine the Pressure Altitude based on knowing the Density Altitude and Outside Air Temperature at an airport. In addition, I show how to confirm the Pressure Altitude read off the E6B flight computer by comparing it to a hand calculated Pressure Altitude. The other way to determine the Pressure Altitude is turning the knob on the altimeter instrument in an airplane such that 29.92 inches is dialed into the Kollsman Window. From there the Pressure Altitude can be read directly off the altimeter.
