I love this. And love how happy you were with how mono the song is. This often off puts me and has me guilty of mixing more with my eyes than my ears. Some songs are Ok slightly mono 🎉

A great explanatory video, thank you. Incidentally (and I'm not sure which is correct), in college back in the stone age when using both horizontal and vertical inputs with oscilloscopes, the instructor called it Lissajew, but I notice most Sound people call it Lissajuss. At any rate, Insight 2 is a great plugin and I use it constantly for the master. I will use it more on individual tracks now as well.

Thanks for the share on this, didn't realize about the relay aspect for spectrogram. I haven't been able to get much resolution out of the low end though, does anybody know if it's possible to increase resolution there?

I wonder if the spectrum appears as Mid/Side or only the appearance can be adjusted. It would be really disappointing if Mid/Side imaging is not possible in the spectrum.

@@iZotopeOfficial I can vouch for the experience with the N4 oscilloscope. Out of all the ones I have tried, the one packaged in N4 gives me the best insight to sound distribution etc. All personal preference mind, but I like it a lot.

Fantastically in-depth breakdown but I hate to be that guy - voice track here is boomy and muddy and the video itself is peaking at 3db over. I found it distracting and odd for one of the biggest audio quality and restoration companies in the world...
