I've been watching a couple of other crafters the last couple of days. They are very neat and organized. The only things on their craft tables are the things they're crafting. They make beautiful stuff but I really enjoy the mayhem that ensues when you craft with wreckless abandon with craft supplies that haven't been proven otherwise yet. Love your videos, Pam!

I love using fabric in my journals. I recently participated in a project to create a journal of stitchery that was all fabric with slow stitching. It is totally different from typical junk journals but was a nice change. So many ways to create and use our stuff!

Hello Pam! Always a pleasant time playing with paper with you! I had an idea come to mind. Since it's hard for me to cut up lace pieces, I think I could glue the entire piece- rips and all/whatever it's size and shape- onto a master board kind of thing. Then I could cut it into smaller sizes for tucks, pockets and tags. Maybe less trauma once I see how productive and pretty they are! Thanks for inspiring me again and sorry for the long post! 🥰

Yay! It's crafty chat day! Hey Pam (and everone!)... have you guys ever been so frustrated at a craft tool that you wanna scream? I discovered my poor guillotine... it no cutty no more (hehe)! The arm/blade won't swing up due to severe rust on the screw/nut/bolt/hinge thing. Oddly, the blade - the part I can see, is rust-free! And, of course, I NEEDED that stupid thing to work yesterday! I ended up tearing the paper instead with a ruler, Pam-style... And discovered to my utter delight that my frustration levels dropped with every single rip. I ended up making way, WAY too many labels for my new spice containers. I felt FABULOUS, though! (Like, probably around 100 labels... and I only used MAYBE... 24. I only had 48 containers! The true FUN will be using the rest of the containers for my craft stuff, the label pieces for mass-made ephemera, etc... but I'll admit, my spices look (mostly, my handwriting isn't great) lovely 😀

Love the use of lace today. Just too lovely. Great use of the game cards. Just another bunch of things to add to my 'shopping list'. Hi Pam, this is off topic and probably not a new idea, but I wanted to share it here. So I am fairly new to creating junk journals and don't have a huge stash of paper or junk mail to create my own ephemera. Since buying things can add up quickly I had the idea to request travel brochures and magazines (which are FREE!!!) Now I have a nice little stack of beautiful scenic magazines, maps, and brochures to utilize. Even National Geographic has travel magazines that they send in packaging that is also very thick cardstock that I've found quite handy.

These pieces of Fabric are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! I was never really a "Girly-Girl" growing up, but in the past 3 or 4 years; I've discovered a new found love for Shabby-Chic!!! I just LOVE all the lace & light colors... Even the pinks!!! I have yet to make a Project in the Shabby-Chic Style yet because the only place I have is a small roll of ribbon I got from the Dollar Tree. I HAVE been checking at my local Goodwill & Thrift Store! After several trips of not finding hardly anything with lace on it (Except I did find a Bed Skirt that had a little bit of a lacey pattern on it's edges!); I asked the lady that works there if they ever get anything like Lace Curtains or even old, stained-up Wedding Dresses. I was surprised that her answer was "Yes, All the time!" Come to find out... She also told me about 2 older ladies who come in almost every morning & sometimes stop by a 2nd & 3rd time during the day! She said they normally snag all the lace curtains or anything they can use. She said she thinks they create things to sale. ***The last also told me I should look in the LITTLE GIRL'S DRESSES!*** Sometimes you can find some BEAUTIFUL fabrics you can cut off the dresses & Children's Clothes are the cheapest they have!!! ~🙏💙🙏~

I just learned a technique that used hand lotion to rub and work into paper. It makes it very soft. But... You have to be careful because the paper likes to get tiny holes for some reason. But it does make it smell nice and feels soft.
