I got the wood pellet cat litter here: amzn.to/3ymWA1s
Tired to having your entire room smell like pungent cat litter? Want to opt for a natural wood smell or no odor at all? Time to try these wood pellets. The Feline Pine cat litter is one of my favorites and it's quite popular.
You can use a sifting tray with your litter box, but I didn't have one. It might save you a little more time, but a scooper works too like how I did it. Let me know how your experiences go!

This was the most confusing part for me, too! Seeing her shake the sawdust over the bag reminded me of how a crow will come up with really smart solutions to get a seed or something. So smart! Blew my mind.

Feline pine is almost as expensive as regular cat litter. Look up your local tack and feed store to get 40lb bags for like $12. Theyre used for horses, but thehre basically the same thing as feline pine. If you want the arm & hammer branding, just add baking soda directly into the litter box to neutralize odors. I use pine pellets, too. For 2 cats, it's too difficult to scoop and sift every time. I give my cats plenty of water every day, so they're using the litter box a lot. I just scoop out the area they pee in, but try not to get too much of the intact pellets. I've also tried moving the litter around like it's Pretty Litter, and it doesn't work as well.

Thanks for the video! I'm about to get two kittens at the end of the month. Being a first time pet owner, so I am doing research on everything. I didn't even know pine pellets for cats was a thing. Glad I can confirm it's use with your video.

I am fostering 2 cats that were surrendered, and I was given this type of pellets, and I simply could not understand how to clean the box! I didn't realize that when wet the pellets turn to dust. Not sure if it's just these cats or the litter, but they never cover the poop, and it stinks! I am curious to try different types of litter, as I haven't had cats in nearly 20 years and things have changed a lot :)

I switched to Pine Litter recently and now it is very difficult to clean for 4 cats. I was told to get a grated cat litter box and that didn't work either. It is messy! The saw dust sticks to the whole pine rolls and trying to dig out all the poop is a nightmare. Pine is much cheaper than clumping clay litter and it smells better but those are the only advantages over clumping clay. Do not get Pine if you have 2 or more cats.

I have 2 cats, and yeah, pine litter is a pain to deal with. But with my fluffy cat, other litter gets stuck in her paws and fluffy butt. I've tried pretty litter, and world's best, but these pine pellets work best for her. I've tried using the Jackson galaxy method of having 3 litter boxes. They will last for the month, but it's super high maintenance. I decided to reduce it to 2 litter boxes and clean them out more often. I can't imagine what it's like with FOUR cats.

That seems like an awfully small amount of it though, I've heard you need at least 3 inches.

I would say 2-3 inches is good. 1 seems like a small amount, but with only one cat, the box is probably lighter, making it easier to move around, and more low maintenance for her.
