That's bc the animals are given a treat each time they perform the trick correctly. I think humans would have more luck recycling if we were immediately rewarded when we did it too lol
I got the pleasure of having a corporate event there where the park was rented out after hours for just us and this was the COOLEST thing there, the entire performance is so enjoyable and we got to "meet" a few of the otters and 1 of the sea lions and they are the CUTEST things. Shoutout to all the folks there who take care of and educate people about these amazing animals.
@@onakelley9086 To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
They commented that because the caption said. And then this happened. So it makes it look like the person's video was tryna say that they weren't trained to do that
How do you know it’s a boy… Edit: sheesh, guys, I’m not one of them sensitive rainbow snowflakes. I just think it was funny that they used “he” when they could have used “it” or “they”. But whatever. It wasn’t meant as a rude or critical questions, smh. It might just be a standard thing to use “he” in English, but I wouldn’t know…
@@ilikeanimals5015you just said it was trained to do this. This girl purposely throws the can of soda in the pool for the otter to get. THATS PART OF THE SHOW.
@@JimKirksHandsomeBrotherthey are absolutely some of the MOST dangerous predators for their size. They're also very curious and playful. Their lack of fear makes them seem friendly, but it's not the case. I owned a ferret and it took him some time to realize he shouldn't bite me as hard as he would bite other ferrets. The funny thing is once he realized it, he would go to play bite me but when his teeth hit my weak skin he would yawn. I swear he was bored of playing so gently. 😂
Otter r truly 1 of the coolest/sweetest animals. I run a safe haven for animals in need & bout 5yrs back i had the pleasure of rasing 1 up from a pup till he was ready to live on his own. Warching him swim away that day was so very bitter-sweet. Sure hope lil Odis is doin well ❤ miss ya buddy!
They can also be incredibly vicious when encountered in the wild. There's a reason why UCD's mascot is the Fighting Otters. People see posts like this and forget they're wild animals.
I love them but they are pure savages, did you know that males will take and drown the baby of a female they want to mate with? Yea they’re cooler than hell, just a tad bit murderous
I saw it in a documentary, too. Humans are assholes from head to toe. I can't believe that so many people go to them to give them money, so the animals can further live in distress! STOP SEAWORLD!!!
omg i love seaworld so much its just incredible and if youve went recently they have sadly changed the selion and otter show with clide and semore but the new version is also good
Did you know it’s very illegal in most places to interact with an otter? Even acknowledging them. But physical interaction is strictly forbidden because of how critically endangered they are.
@@AJstwxks your pfp is literally kid goku committing sleep assault on a passed out sixteen year old bulma. You need to sit down and not make noise for the next…..3000 years or until the final hour takes you. Whichever come first.
I remeber watching that once and when the otter when behind the curtain it didnt come back out for a couple minutes and you could see them like trying to secretly put treats for it to come out.
Well the whole thing is a bit and the otter is trained but the fact that people think recycling actually does anything; shows most people can be told what to do and they will comply meanwhile, it all ends up in the same landfill.
@@serotonin5852 uninformed? The information is readly available. Are you new to the internet? Would you prefer an 'expert' on TV to tell you what to think?
That's a good show and an even better trained otter....he knows he's gonna get so many goodies after the show if he does it right....lot different from the shocks and beatings they used to get...and they're happier and more willing to do what us asked.
Enjoyed watching this immensely! Hopefully everyone will understand how important it is to keep your area clean and not to toss trash wherever but in its correct trash can And I hope children, especially, will lecture their elders when they see them doing wrong. They are good teachers.
I look at this show thru a child's eyes as that is how I became very interested in trying to keep our earth area clean for future generations. I was in 4th grade when my mom introduced me to Hunts pudding cups. They had started a campaign of saving labels to turn in which were for helping the Bald Eagles. I remember telling my teacher about this and he put a poster on the class wall and also encouraged my classmates to participate. We need to be positive in order for us all to try to clean up our world.
They do abuse their animals yeah. Too bad they dont show you that part so we could maybe learn the importance of animals' wellbeing too and not to exploit them for money
Smarter than humans? You sure bud? You okay in the head? 1: It was part of the show and 2: of it wasn't. That doesn't mean animals are smarter than humans it just means the person made a mistake and the animal has copied what it has seen from others
Well, when you're kidnapped from your original environment, subjected to punishment and tempted with treats and malnourishment to do tricks (such as recycling)... Yeah, you become pretty intelligent unlike the people who pay for this shit.
@@tomozer69420 All the shows at Sea World used to be AWESOME. But sadly PETA & other animal rights activists continually gripping about animal abuse & setting animals free. TRUTH is all the animals are very well taken care of & actually have it better than those in the wild. And many of the animals there couldn't survive in the wild due to injuries or being born into captivity wouldn't make it in the wild if there were released. Just like Ringling Brothers Circus sadly has ZERO animals in it anymore. I really HATE that the actions of a few can ruin everything for the rest of us.
@@SW-jt3slmmmm I wouldn’t assume that considering the condition their whales and dolphins are in. Half of those animals are on the brink of death. One of the orcas even committed suicide by ramming its head into the side of the pool over and over cause it was so miserable. Do some goddamn research before u go talking about shit u know nothing about. In fact, I suggest u go watch the movie blackfish. Maybe it’ll give u an idea of what kind of ppl they are
I have no idea about this specific otter, because it’s freaking Sea World and I’m sure they could find a way to screw it up, but otters are one of the easier aquarium mammals to keep humanely. It’s totally possible to have an ethical otter exhibit. Whether or not they actually do is another issue.
I totally agree. Animals in captivity should be in a conservation zoo, not performing. Have you heard how when an orca is taken away from its pod the others mourn its disappearance, animals deserve better
