Where do you place this…close to door? And does it have to be connected to power all the time?

It has to be in a 10m radius from the door and yes it has to be connected to power all the time

@@pametnebravehr Can it be placed a floor above the lock, where there are thick walls but still less than meters directly to the lock? The signal is stated to be "weak".

Fixed it.. location on the phone need to be turned ON

The G2 gateway works fine remotely using wi-fi but only to "unlock". there does not appear to be an option to "lock" this way. Why is that?

if you have alexa just say " alexa lock front door" and it works everytime
