do these watches have issues with data vanishing from the app? I tried another cheaper watch (not a garmin) and one day all 4 months of data on the app was gone with no way of getting it back because they dont store it anywhere.

I was surprised to see several options within your app that mine didn't have. I confirmed I've got the current version 4.65. For example in the Health Stats menu I'm missing sleep score, pulse ox, pulse ox acclimation, and health snapshot. Any ideas? In case it matters my watch is a Garmin 245

Justin, yes it depends on what kind of Garmin watch you're wearing. For example, AFAIK, Garmin 245 doesn't have health snapshot, right?

Can someone tell me what it means on the calendar that u see the month you see the colors yes, and u see all u did by color code I got that but there is a plus sign and a number as well. What is the that? What does it mean? It changes every day. I can’t figure it out

On the calendar you can see up to a certain number of color-coded recorded data and if there are more that can fit there the plus number simply means plus that many more data and activities you have recorded that you can see by tapping each individual day.

Way better than what the Apple Watch gives you for health. Apples health app is a mess. I’m waiting for the Garmin 965 to be in stock so I can switch from my AW series 4 that’s almost 5 years old.

This can be done on the Garmin website. Once there, go to the bottom, tap-click on “platforms”. Sign in to “connect”.

You need to uodate this video immediately!! Garmin just updated the app and it is horrible. I have been a Garmin Connect user for 6 years and loved it until April 19, 2024 when they rolled out the new version. Its a mess. Maybe Garmin will roll back to the old version.

I just want an overview of all my activities (walking, cycling, swimming etc) performed during a chosen time frame, like last 7 days, last 2 weeks etc. A stacked bar chart with total duration of each activity, per day, with a line chart above it for total minutes per day. Is this possible?

@@RyansTechMedia no. If I wear the watch on its own. Every Km for runs or every 500m for swims etc....i get a beep on the watch. But when i have my phone with me, the phone literrally tells me Lap 1, and then the time of theat lap. I just cant find a way to disable that

Since Jan. 2023 phone battery drain caused by the Connect app (IOS) has suddenly become an issue. It has been reported to Garmin but they have no solution yet.

I think this app has a lot of potential, but I find it somehow unnecessary hard to use. Way to many sub menus and so on. The app should make it easier to customize watch faces and find the VO-max. As a former Apple Watch user , I’m actuality kind of disappointed in this app.

I feel your pain. The problem is that Garmin provides a lot of raw data, while many other brands try to make their analytics more insightful and show only what matters. BTW there will be a new video about this soon.
