To me this has always been one of the harder topic about English grammar, but thanks to this video everything is starting to get clearer... thank you Emma! :-)
I love the way she explains gerund and infinitive; it is very useful and necessary to know the different usage of gerund and infinitives of the same word, and I have gotten much more clear now! Thank you!
@@ginaldoschuina6558 If you have problems with listening skills or you don't even understand what you hear, so let me help you how to improve your ears to catch every single word especially when you watch movies. there's no magic to get this ability or skill in one day! but there's a particular way to improve it as much as possible. in fact you need to exercise your ears and also pay attention carefully. It may takes a long time to understand what's going on through movies or even in difficult conversations but If you practice over and over again, I promise you that you will see the results so soon. you're going to have better listening skills that you've never expected before. so I suggest you to check out our You tube channel "GoodWave" If would like to see the improvement quickly. each video contains some parts that took from movies and also has subtitles to help you understand well.
Grey eyed Nicolas Why don't you just say: I'm in love with her. Like all we others.😄 She is the best english teacher I've seen on RU-vid yet. She speaks clearly and slowly and yes: She is an amazing beautiful lady, so I know, what you are dreaming of. So don't stop dreaming.(gerund).😄
this video really gives me an understanding of how to use gerunds and infinitives, although I still have to learn more because it takes time to realize it in my direct pronunciation practice with other people and thank you ♥️
If you dont mind, i would like to correct you. The right form is "Your explanation are amazing", because possessive adjectives is followed by a noun. And "Thanks for sharing with us..." Because it's a gerund, for more specific gerund after preposition. Hope it helps
You're a great teacher. I learn so much with you, your videos help me to understand better. Congratulations, thanks so much for your time Emma, you're a precious person!!!
Me in my thoughts: *I wish I would stop watching anime while doing my homework!* Me in reality: *keeps on doing the same action and ignoring my thoughts*

Emma love the way you started this video. Please make a vlog once in a while so we can see how English is used in different situations and help us in English daily life conversations. Please like if you like this idea....lets see how many likes/votes we get..So then you will have to fullfill our request Emma
Hi, Emma, thank you for making these wonderful videos. This is my second one to watch. I do believe that your compound sentence examples should use a semicolon to separate the independent clauses instead of a comma. Thanks!
Great lesson! Very interesting! Thank you for your wonderful videos. One question, are there any differences between like+gerund and like+to like? Thank you!
Thanks so much for your class. At the end is all about getting in touch naturally with verb patterns but my students are not native speakers so it’s difficult for them to get this subject they need more understanding basis. They need to know why these verb patterns.
Hey Emma mam thnx for ur all great English lessons for us😊i lyk to watch ur English lessons videos cuz its vry helpful to learn English nd its very clear to understand...luv uh Emma😘😘
I wish I had someone to practice with since it speaks another language where I live. I speak with my daughter sometimes and she corrects me all the time so I nearly give up. Thanks for you incredible videos Emma I really appreciate, really useful💕❤️
Native speaker here, Your second sentence is perfect! Definitely wash your hands! However, your second sentence does not make sense. You mean to say "I will never forget having my heart broken by my ex-girlfriend" meaning she hurt or broke up with you and this broke your heart.
Well, the way you teach is terrific 👍...and also very motivating , but there is one thing I would love There is something I want to point out to you, which is that during the explanation you move from one idea into another quickly, and this makes it difficult especially for beginners and non-native speakers to receive the information. Sorry for noticing.... I just wanted to contribute positively to the education process
