Thank you sir for sharing your thoughts and ideas! Now I know how to use the insulation tester to measure the insulation resistance of the motor. The selector must point to the highest range. After that, test the tester and probes if it is functioning properly. Just simply short the probes and press the indicator, if the value is 0, then it is totally shorted and can now be able use. Just keep in mind when using this tester since it is very dangerous due to its high voltage. And also don't touch the metallic rod of the probes.
