How to use iRig 2 with smart phone livestreaming  

Yeah, it’s super easy. I run my radio studio. I’m an on air personality. DJ I run my own country radio station and I use the irg2 to do it so what I do is in this might help other DJs too. You take your main RCA cables that are coming from your main in and out then you take the end that’s left and plug it into a mono connector then take that mono connector, plug it into the rig and then I take my iPhone adapter plug it into the rig and then the last end of the adapter goes into your cell phone. Great quality great sound no noise distortion. It’s just like listening to a radio station cause I DJ everything from my headphones, my microphone, my music go into my headphones, I don’t use monitors. I don’t use speakers and it’s perfect. It’s just a good invention man. Thanks for the video guys making the people happy that’s what it’s all about.

What about the microphone? I use a dj mixer 900, by connecting the microphone to mixer via xlr do i get the sound? Or do i have to connect the mic straight to the IRIG?

Ordered a super cheap knock off of the irig 1 for guitar cause i was fed up of the iphone ligntning mics id tried . Its very noisey when listening in and hard to get levels right but the recordings come out great,already ordered an official irig2. Ill maybe get a hd version in the future . These gadgets are amazing and stil hold up so well

Hey man, thx for explanation in your video. I have bought all the necessary cables, connectors for my iphone 11 and iRig 2 with the cables to my dj mixer. All fine. But when I go live with TikTok, then I have to mute the Iphone microphone? I tested it yesterday I have heard background noises for example the noise click when I made my headphone ready and wearing on my head. I was not sure if the sound was going by iRig 2 or my microphone of iPhone instead..

Hi Chase I’m just self proclaimed DJ trying to get out there myself, man I bought an Irig connected my phone. My phone just thinks I’m trying to use headphones. So the sound will only come out but not in.. any thoughts?

How’s it going DJ Chase, can I get some insight. Say I want to play vinyl directly to TikTok Live streaming with a mic what would I need is it a mic, 1 turntable plugged in to channel 1/2 input and iRig Master output on the mixer with my iMac sufficient? How can I hear the music while streaming as well. Please any tips or any guidance?

I get what you did and said. i connected my RCA's to my Rane seventy-two's booth out then into the IRIG 2 guitar input then plugged the iPad toggle to the IRIG 2 then into my iPad and opened TikTok and started streaming with my volumes turned down. after recording, I listened to my playback from TikTok on TikTok and my audio didn't record the audio from my system. it recorded the audio from the iPad mic. what setting do I need to change because it's not plug-and-play at all.

Hey man. Just got one. But the headphone port on the irig does work. I plugged my earphones in there. Did the connections and all. My phone is getting all the audio fine and clean. But I’m not getting anything from the earphones port on the irig

Yo man I had this thing working with a regular 1/4 inch adapter to MPC to my iPhone & there was something in the Amplitude app that needed to be hit…everytime I come bacc to make content I come across this issue where I’m getting background noise…any tips on how to fix that?

Usually the booth on a mixer is mono.

I'm guessing that after making these connections, you shouldn't have to change any settings on your iphone right? When you record videos, do you listen to your mixes using the XLR outputs connected to the speakers? since the RCA are being used for Irig.
