Hello. Perhaps an odd request but I don’t do an awful lot of ECU reading so don’t really have a huge need for a BDM frame and adapters. Is it possible to show how you go about soldering the female connector on the BDM/programming pads? If you could possibly show that or if you have a previous video showing that I’d be extremely grateful and thank you!
saludos megusta ver tus videos en especial cuando subes de bmw la vez pasada te pregunte lo de un problema de no encendido de un bmw 325 2011 le remplaze el valvetronic pero luego regresaba el shaft al punto baja asi que no arrancaba el auto lo deje en el tope maximo ,desconecte la valvetronic asi arranco pero en modo de estrategia asi que determine el problema de la ecu asi que se pidio una, lo que are presisamente es clonar la que pedi para evitarme codificacion ,adaptacion ademas de codificacion de cada inyectores ya tengo lectura del backup con ktag solo espero que llegue la otra y a darle el clonado, ktag ya forma parte del taller evita muchos procedimientos con lo que respecta al remplazo de ecu.

Hi, I read a eeprom and it came out 8kb instead of 2. I tried to fix it and deleted the identical parts but i only end up with 2.59 kb.. Do you know anything that can help? im scared to write it back and then destroy the ecu
Well is the right tool for my needs. All depends on what modules your work on the most. There is no perfect tool for all. But K-Tag is definitely a great tool

hii maic, nice clear video! quick newbie question. in the Ktag. can u see current engine hours in the software, and do u have the possibility to reset in this use for an for an mercury engine that is completely revised?
Well you can download the eeprom file and then use an editor to correct the hours if you know where to look for it. Then either connect to the engine or use a simulator with a diagnostic equipment that let you see the hours.

hello i have a question i have a mazda 3 built in 2016 with a denso P5 engine control unit and the fam was 531. i could read normally via obd2 with kess v2 clone. it took about 22 minutes. Now my question do you know which control units lock when you write them via OBD2, because I have heard that some engine control units do that when I write the tuning file that it locks the engine control unit, please thank you for help

Is this a clone ktag as well ? Seems to be and how well do they work i want to get one i have a reworked kess v2 clone works like a slave not had a issue but some jobs need a ktag for bench

It can’t repair corrupted software. That is why is good to save all calibrations and EPROMs files for future reference and in a case that you need it for a blank or corrupted micro.
Well, you may have a code that states that which means that your ECM most likely has a bad EEPROM and probably some more components. What car are we talking about?
I typed a new folder with k-tag in my bmw x3 e83 with k-tag. I successfully typed the folder but after that I can't start the car and there is no communication. Can you help me?
@@misko4964 it seems like you have corrupted the files in the micro. Ktag can help you if you send the files to them. If your Ktag is original. Otherwise you need xprog and load the original files

@@amineberrahma3675 350 Mag Bravo. This one was a start and run then dies. But was running really bad and no comm with scanner. It will die and then starts after a few minutes then the same, no more than 2000 rpm.
With the sticker in the computer and K-tag will tell you if the correct plug in has been selected, if not it will tell you that you selected one but the ECM connected uses other and will show which one.
@MaicSalazarDiagnostics same here it says 2005 chrysler 300c but the ecus listed are only 2 and says their diesel engines ?? Any idea what's going on and how to get ecu to show for a gas engine 5.7 hemi? Any help would be appreciated greatly sir im new to this tool master version is the one I have
Trying to work on a bcm for a 2008 gmc van. No signal lights, traced transistors to the main chip (120-LQFP MB91F011) which I believe is the problem. But not sure which way to go from here. Have you ever worked on one of these? Will any of these chip readers copy / clone the chip? Seems like the bcm's seem to have lots of issues. trahc@yahoo.com if you want to send me an email.
