I have just purchased my new Kemper and need some advise I use a RC 300 looper and want to ask if there is any sound generation loss when placing it into the loopstation. I tried at home with my RC 30 and it seemed to loose a little bit of quality. I am running the unit Straight into the looper and out of looper into the PA. also I was looking for an Octaver as I use the sub n up now but want to use only the Kemper. However I saw in your video that you use an octaver in the stomp section. I will try that. Love this Kemper

Hi Wallace, how are you? Sorry for the late reply but I need to activate my notifications!!! I love the sound of the silent guitar and I usually don't use any preset from the Kemper. I bypass the presets and use the sound as it is on the "tuning" setting. Let me know if you need more help. Ciao!
@@LordLoopstation Thanks for coming back to me buddy, i don't understand when you say you bypass the presets. Do you mean that you leave the chicken neck on off switch in the tuner position and then just use then stomp effects. `Sorry I'm a bit confused
@@wallacenock7423 No problem at all. I use the Kemper on the tuning position or I create a Preset with nothing on it, flat sound, without altering the sound of the guitar. I create an empty preset with No amp simulation, no pedals simulations, no effects. If you have the original pedalboard as I do you can add Delay, Chorus, Octaver and Boost on the top 4 switches. excellent video... just got my kemper a few weeks back. maybe you can answer a question though.. I tried the looper out... and at first.. when playing the second track it was really muddy.. not loud enough.. looper location was on pre.. so i switched it to post.. its better now.. but.. still not loud and separated like yours.. do i need to boost and cut tracks somehow to compensate i suppose.. with a volume pedal maybe..? or is there another way to do that? thanks again.
Hi Shon, How are you? thanks for your message. I am not sure about that if I have to be honest with you as I've never had such a problem. It is not designed to be a looper (I guess) and I understand when you say that it is a bit muddy but it does the job when you are in a live gig. Let me know if you managed to fix it. It might be better to contact them directly or to try to connect an external loopstation into it. Keep the Loop and thanks again for writing! Ciao!
HI Shon! how are you? Again, Apologise for the late reply but I need to activate my notifications. I use a Yamaha Silent guitar. I have a volume control built in the guitar that allows me to change my volume as I wish. I guess you could use a volume pedal or try to use the dynamic with your hands or picks (play louder when you need, if you check my other videos on how to use the loop it will make more sense). Also, as much as I love the Kemper I want to say that it is not made specifically for looping and there are other devices more suited for it. Let me know if you need more help. CIao!
So this can keep stack /record different profiles as you play or can you audition profiles after you've recorded something? Where in the chain is the looper? Thanks!
So, if I'm playing with a live drummer, and a click track... is there a feasible way to make this work? I'm either off time, and need to practice... or I have something set wrong. It always seems to have a delay when the loop restarts. It's a little intro riff, that loops so I can sing and not have to play the part at the same time.
Hi Jake, Thanks for your message.. Well, there are a few ways to go around it but personally I would always avoid to play with a live drummer and a loop station especially if you have a pre-recorded track with the click on it. I would prefer to record the other guitar parts on the track and avoid the loop. There is a way to connect the click running from the drummer with the midi connection of your loopstation. DM privately and we have a chat, i need to explain to you it properly.. ;-)
Hi, Thanks a lot for Your message.. You can Use an external loop Pedal, sure.. Normal Clean (using just 1 sound for practice): Guitar -> Loop -> Kemper -> Amp/Mix (no ideal if you need to use a distorted preset) Use many different sounds from the Kemper: Guitar -> Kemper -> Loop -> Mixer (this set DOESN't works with Amp but just with direct connection to mixer) I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure you can do a similar thing by connecting the Loop into Send and Return.. Hi, I've tried it before and it does work. It depends how you want to connect it and if you want to use the effects from the Kemper. In theory you need to put the loop at the end of the chain (I'm sure you know it already anyway) but obviously you can't do that if you are using a cabinet. Connect the headphones/XLR mono out to the loopstation and then to mixer (if you want to use the Kemper's effect) or plug the loopstation directly into the Kemper if you don't need the effects. I've tried only the Headphones solutions. Again, if you want to do something super particular I would recommend to get in touch directly with Kemper. Keep the Loop! Ciao!
Hi, how are you? Thanks for your message. Yes, you can, I've tried, it works. I usually use it at the end of the chain, between the kemper and the Mixer so you can use all the effects of the kemper. Guitar-> Kemper-> Loop-> Mixer ... There are other ways but this is the easiest. Let me know if you need more help... Ciao!!
