The one thing I don't understad is, when I have a base sound for example a clean sound and want to add some delay. I press the button one more time and add delay. When I a press back to base sound, the effect, don't turn off.

This was a huge help. I was trying to figure out how to morph ONLY the mix of my delay using an expression pedal. I thought that I could assign an expression pedal to just the delay BLOCK (like I did in my Fractal). I now understand that the morph is assigned to the rig (meaning the entire chain of amps and effects). So, to be able to use an expression pedal to take my delay mix from 30% to 60%, I would have to have my 'base' tone (the lower LED on my Remote footswitch) at 30%. Then in my 'morph' tone (the upper LED on my Remote footswitch) have it at 60%. If all I want in that scenario is the delay mix increase, then the rest of the chain would be duplicates of each other - whether in 'base' or 'morph' states. The end result being that only the delay mix is effected.

Sorry you didn't like it. The step by step tutorials are my most popular videos. Many people find the learning curve for digital amps to be quite steep and are looking for something complete that covers all the details. These videos are also used by Mission Technical Support to help customers who call in asking for help programming their Kemper, Helix, Axe-FX, Eventide etc. I include jump links in the description for those that want to jump straight to specific sections of the video. If you just want something fast that does not cover all the options, then this is probably not the channel for you.

I agree with Rafael that is is slow but I understand you are trying to cover it in a way that even the most novice technology people can learn the kemper.

With same pedal I use for morphing, can I use the same settings to Wah?

Very helpful - thanks! One question: without the remote, how do I morph the rig's EQ settings? Those knobs take on a different function when you're editing the rig. I know it's possible because I have some preset rigs that morph Bass/Mid/Treble/Presence. Gain, Rig volume, Delay, Reverb, etc. are easy because they are dedicated knobs. Thanks.

It's a little tricky but possible. There's a thread on the Kemper forum on it here www.kemper-amps.com/forum/index.php?thread/38673-how-to-morph-by-midi-controller-not-with-expression-pedal/ I should do a separate video on this.

Have you got a link or video that demos how to morph(or by other means) the Leslie On,Off, Fast, Slow? Would love to have a way to do it without adding an extra expression pedal.
@JamesLebihan

Setting up Morph for stomp parameters is much the same as with the other values. Enable the controller you want to use for Morph as covered in this video. (This can be a switch on the Remote or Stage if you do not want to use an expression pedal). Add a Rotary Speaker stomp to the rig. Put the controller in the minimum position and select the base parameters for Rotary. Then put the controller in the max position (press the switch on the Remote) and select the max parameters for the Rotary. Now when you press the Morph controller the Rotary will Morph between base and max settings.

@@JamesLebihan Yes, I see where you're going with this. On my unit, I'm not seeing a speed parm in the Leslie stomp. I must be missing something.

I'm on the edge of dropping $2400, but I need to know one thing: Can this amp do a smooth morph via an expression pedal from any clean amp model (let's say a Fender Twin) using reverb and a chorus, into a totally different amp model (let's say a Mesa Dual Rectifier) using a compressor and digital delay... seamlessly, while also reserving another expression pedal for master volume, and another for a solo gain setting? Because my 20-year old Johnson JM150 and JM250 Millenniums can... and I can't make this jump to Kemper without knowing I won't lose those capabilities. Thanks!
@JamesLebihan

I don't think that the Profiler will morph between two different rigs, only settings within a rig, but you should check with Kemper on that one.
@kingpossie
@kingpossie 5 лет назад
In theory you can - if you put a Mesa or Fender style preamp pedal + IR cab sim into slot A via the FX loop, set up parallel path and morph between your base amp and the engaged FX loop amp sound. But for dual amp sounds you’re better of buying an AxeFX or Line6. Kemper does not do the double amp thingy.

can i also enable a stomp by morphing. For example if i want to use it for solo boost maybe i want some more gain more reverb and delay enabled or must i use a sepearte button to enable the delay?
@JamesLebihan
@JamesLebihan 4 года назад
I don't think you can turn stomps on and off with morphing. You could try putting a delay in one of the stomps with the mix turned right down to zero and then bring the mix up with morphing. That might work.

Looks cool but I can't for the life of me think why I would use the rise and fall function.

First when trying to switch from base tone to second tone does not work and I am using expression that do work with the kemper
@JamesLebihan

I would suggest contacting either mission or kemper tech support. Mission support can be contacted by email to info@missionengineering.com. Make sure to provide all the information, such as: are you using a Kemper Remote or not? Which make and model of expression pedal are you using? Which Profiler firmware version are you using? Also make sure to describe the problem exactly. For example, when you say it does not work, what exactly do you mean? Do the LED's light on the Remote when you press the switch like in the video? What parameters are you trying to change in the morph?

why on earth not one pedal you determine per rig what it needs to be.... why on system level?

Can we turn off morph mode on performance mode.

Can morphing turn off & on or switch different cabs too ???
@JamesLebihan
@JamesLebihan 5 лет назад
I don't think so. You can morph settings within a rig, but you cannot morph between rigs as far as I know. There's a comment down below from a viewer that suggests a possible workaround using IR's and the effects loop. I haven't tried myself, but maybe it would work for you.
@173guitarman

I I tried upping gain in morph mode and that worked, then I tried just shutting off the cab...nope 🚫 that would be great if you could have two different cabs or shut it off just by retapping the rig button !

Can morphing be instant? So 0 seconds to ramp up or down?
@loraljohnson
@loraljohnson 4 месяца назад
Yes, there is a setting to go from 0 up to about 30 seconds (I think). So you can have instant morph sound or gradually go into it. Go to 4:57 in the video and where he discusses "Rise Time" is how fast it goes into the morph, and the "Fall Time" is how fast it returns to the base sound.
