Oh Sarah. I have a cameo 4 sitting in the box and the business edition not being used this was a treat and if you are going to be teaching this I may dig it out.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Unfortunately as I don't have a Silhouette machine I can't really offer any further videos for Silhouette Studio as I wouldn't be able to test-cut anything. I made this video after lots of research because I was getting asked quite often how to use my layered DXF files.

Hi Sarah, in Silhouette, parts like the truck with the windows etc. Click to highlight everything in that section and choose "Make Compound Path." You will notice on your red section of the truck you can see the window 'cut-out' as on the other section (black) it shows everything in black. Hope this makes sense.
